Betta fish and beyond

Ok so..lots has happened in the last few years folks. I left this page and came to 1700 followers!!!
I love you guys. The last few years has been heartbreaking and a real struggle. My family and I have moved on to greener pastures :) in 3 months time I will have an actual store front!!! I'm very excited. When we move and get renovations on the way, I'll be starting alittle video blog and share our journey as we start this all over AGAIN 😂🤣 This business is very hard to get up and running the fish take 6 months at the very least to breed. Finding the right fish parents can be a struggle to say the least but over the years I've gotten pretty good at choosing my breeders. I hope to have alot of success in the future and I look forward to getting to the overwhelming amount of messages. I deeply apologize to all the people who have been messaging and haven't received a response.
I am a single mum doing all this on my own. I also have alot of kids that depend on me. So I juggle alot to say the least. Thanks again for all the support. I hope to bring alot to Betta Fish and Beyond.
Also side note. We will be making custom tanks as well! In six months this should all be well on it way. In the meantime I'll be posting lots of little tips and pictures of these beautiful fishies.

Hello Everyone, sorry for the drop off! We moved! Starting the breeding up again. Should have some for sale in the next couple months. We needed more space for our ever growing zoo :) More updates and pics of our new fishy friends next week! Thank you to everyone that has stayed interested in our little project. I was very pleasantly surprised by all the requests we have gotten lately. Again I apologize for the delay but we wanted the best set up for our little business and where we were before was not a good space at all. But we have started fresh again and hopeful we will have some very flashy fish for you guys this year!

Alot of people i know and hang out with all like to go fishing...
How long do people wanna be able to fish...Your children wont be able to..Your grandchildren definitely wont be able to..
Why?? Cormorants!!!!!!
These water birds are ravenous, disgusting eaters, eating their body weight everyday in the fish they eat.. These birds eat everything from baby trout and salmon, to small pike and young muskie... This year my father and i went fishing on Lake Simcoe, Ontario. Used to be the best lake around for perch and pan fish...Along with pike... We spent two days trolling, drifting and flipping whatever we could to get a rise out of some kind of fish...
Not only did we not catch one fish, we didnt see a fish... the lake itself is clear and gorgeous. You can literally see bottom most of the lake..Not one fish though...Two days all over that lake and nothing there... However, the cormorants, all over the place, eating every fish in the lake..The lake is now a dead lake.. Nothing there for the kids, grand kids, or the avid fisherman...
The biggest problem of this issue is that the government has protected these invasive cormorants and made them the top predator in our lakes and waterways...We need to do something before the stupid birds destroy our natural fisheries and kill the ecosystems of our lakes and rivers...
I think it is time Canada to wipe them out..Fight back against these gross eaters of fish. Open season to shoot them will only slow them down, not stop them.. In the long run, we can keep their population lower than it is maybe we can gain our Lakes fisheries back...Lake simcoe is only the beginning..

Sorry Followers and friends, we have been gone a long time. We had a massive flood and lost all of our tech to get online. We r back now and able to take questions, unfortunately we have also lost most of our stock in the flood. We are trying to repair and rebreed our fancy betta`s.. Please be patient, we will have stuff to sell soon..
