2025 has come and gone and oh what a year it has been!

We want to take the time to wish a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to each and every one of you from all of us here at Fairmont Animal Hospital!

- open Christmas Day and Boxing Day, closing 7am on Saturday Dec 27 - re-open 7am Monday, Dec 29

Southwest Urgent Care - 1398 Wellington Rd S - 519-672-1623
- opening 12pm Wednesday Dec 24 and staying open 24hrs until 6am Monday Dec 29

PLEASE SHARE!!!

We have another found kitten here at Fairmont and we would love to reunite her with her owner! She was found in the Hamilton/Meadowlilly Rd area.

There's no microchip but Dr Fernanda believes she's around 7-8 months old and is not spayed.

Thanks for any assistance you can provide, please call us if you might know who this little lady is. Proof of ownership will be required to take ownership!

We are coming to the end of our Senior Focus and hope you have enjoyed the informational posts we have done over the past couple of months.

There are so many things we can do to help our pets remain happy and healthy as they age. Regular play and exercise will help to keep their bodies at a healthy weight as well as keep their mind active. Try teaching your pet a new trick!

An active life and mind, along with proper nutrition and your veterinarian’s help, your pet can continue to have a great life even into their senior years! Call us today if you have any concerns, we are always here to help!

Sometimes diabetes can develop as your dog or cat gets older. There are many different factors in why they might develop diabetes including obesity, hyperadrenocorticsm, hyperthyroidism, kidney disease, pancreatitis and more. If you notice your dog or cat drinking and urinating excessively, then diabetes might be a diagnosis to explore.

Diabetes can be very manageable once the correct dose of insulin is found so you and your beloved pet can enjoy much more quality time together.
