❤️Happy Valentine's Day! This Valentines show your furry friends the love of keeping them safe.

🍫 Remember that chocolate, candies (especially ones with xylitol) are very toxic to your pets. Keep these out of reach!
🌸As pretty as they are, flowers can be dangerous for your furry friends! Lilies, in particular, can be very harmful to your cats.
🎁When leaving gifts out for your Valentine, secure your ribbons, strings, and even wrappers. As these are very easy for your pet to accidentally ingest.

🚨Is your pet protected from extreme cold? 🚨
See our tips below to keep pets safe, healthy, and happy during cold weather!

❄ Watch your pets when they go outside, even to use the bathroom! Some pets cannot tolerate cold, even for short periods. Limit outdoor time when temperatures plummet.

❄ If your pet is always outside, make sure to provide a warm place to shelter and extra food to keep them warm!

❄ Wipe down your dog's paws after walks. This will help remove any salt and keep them from getting chapped. Or better still, use some booties!

❄Provide extra indoor enrichment, such as extra training sessions, snuffle mats, and puzzles to keep your dog occupied when it's too cold to walk.
