Bar Diamond D Performance Horses

Bar Diamond D Performance Horses I was born and raised in Alberta and was introduced to horses at a very young age. I also discovered the challenge and pleasure of starting my own youngsters.

By early teens it was discovered that horses were not just a little girl “phase” for me. Initially aiming for the Show Jumping ring I spent my early teen years riding with a successful jumping/dressage coach. After getting my first horse at 15 years old, I was soon introduced to the world of Reining and was hooked. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with some incredible trainers. N

ow, many years later, my horses and the sport of Reining are still my passion. Bar Diamond D Performance Horses is the result of that passion and I can’t wait to share it with you!

What a big summer for the Spinnin My Dually offspring.
Promise Me A Spin "Harper" spent his summer in Reining training and is doing Excellent!
Chics Dig Duallys "Pippin" made her debut in the Reining pen and proved just how solid, talented and sound minded she is.
Zips Smokin Dually "Smoke" made his way to the trainer and showed how trainable, intelligent and athletic these horses are.
Lena On My Heart "Lena" has been on the road with the boys getting all the exposure before she heads off for training in October, and handling it like a pro!
And last but not least....the newest Dually baby was born and is stunning!
Cassiopée is not registered yet...she hasn't quite decided to show her markings to her owner, lol. But she is gorgeous, smart and catty!

Can't wait to see what these youngsters do in the future, but I know one thing for sure...they will definitely make Dually and us here at Bar Diamond D Performance Horses proud!!

So much fun was had this weekend at the second Northern Alberta Reining Horse Association show! All 3 horses were amazing. We had some learning moments and went home with stuff to work on...but over all so very proud of these kids! Dually has finally started to really show again, which is a big win! Shotz had a rough first day, but day 2 was amazing with his first Reining class and solid relaxed rides in all of his Ranch classes. And Miss Lena, the stall queen herself, tagged along and took to the busy warm up pen like a pro! Can't wait for the next one!!

These kids are coming along so nicely! Every ride gets better and better. Can't wait for next year's show season! ...

Follow up to Dually's Ranch Riding video...this is his Ranch Trail class. Back through was a little sticky, but man did he nail the ground tie!

Our crew had a great start to the show season this past weekend with the Northern Alberta Reining Horse Association! Dually had a bit of a glitch with his reining pattern but came back strong to win 2nd in Ranch Rail, score a 70.5 for the win in Ranch Riding and a 70 for the win in Ranch Trail. Shotz had a few baby learning moments, but over all had a great set of Ranch classes and was much more settled in his stall. And the little stall queen herself, Miss Lena, did a fantastic job cruising around the arena before the show and took in all the busy like she was born to it and not a fuss in the stall while everyone was out showing. So proud of these horses and can't wait for the rest of the season!
