Produce Pickup Volunteer Needed at Critter Care Wildlife Society

We’re looking for a dedicated volunteer to help with our weekly produce pickups on Wednesdays, starting immediately. Your efforts will ensure our rescued animals receive fresh, nutritious produce—a vital part of their rehabilitation and care.

Volunteer Requirements:

- Access to a truck capable of transporting small crates of produce
- Ability to lift and move heavy items

Raccoons are the number one rehabilitated animal at our facility. Critter Care was founded because of the raccoons.

Your sponsorship will help provide around-the-clock care, medication if needed, and an abundance of various foods and enrichment.

You will receive a tax receipt for your charitable donation and an 8 1/2 x 11 laminated certificate that contains a photo of your orphan.

Now Hiring: Wildlife Care Assistant

Do you believe our native wildlife needs protection? Critter Care Wildlife Society in Langley is seeking a dedicated team player to help care for injured and orphaned animals.

What you’ll do:

Daily animal care and training support for interns

Triage new admissions, clean and set up enclosures

Rescue, restraint, and assist with releases

Provide professional support to the public and interns

Qualifications:
Hands-on experience in wildlife rehab, veterinary, or zoo settings is an asset, along with strong communication skills and a valid Canadian driver’s license.

If you’re passionate about wildlife and looking to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you!
