Yesterday I visited the Stray Animal Foundation of India and their partner, Breath Animal Rescue.
They bring stray dogs in to vaccinate them, sterilize them, treat injuries, and give them a safe place to heal before releasing them back to where they were found. It is quiet, difficult work that most people never see.
Many of these dogs arrive after road accidents, abuse, dog fights, or illness. Some are recovering from surgery. Some are learning, maybe for the first time, that human hands can be gentle.
Spending time there was a reminder of how different life looks for animals living on the streets. Food, shelter, and healing come first.
I’ve supported their work before and will continue to do so. I also shared a Calm Bone pillow with their team, not as a solution for the dogs’ struggles, but as a symbol of a commitment: a portion of my company’s proceeds will continue going toward organizations doing this kind of frontline care.
If you feel moved to help, there’s a donation link below. Even small support goes a long way for animals who have very little.
