Reminder to boarders and arena riders:

Dragging the arena for you now costs double what it did before. So if those ruts used to cost $10 of diesel to fix, now they are $20.

If there was ever a time for you to stop riding around on the rail, now would be that time! Time for riding quarter lines, serpentines, random circles every where! Help conserve the integrity of your footing and expand the time between drags by getting off the rail! Work on your horses straightness without the wall as an aide, practice leg yielding away from the wall, spiral-ins and -outs! Give your ponies something exciting to do!

Not only will your trainers and barn managers thank you for saving them some time and money, your horse will thank you for doing something less boring!

Boarding available - Right next to trails!!

Cartwright Equestrian is a smaller private barn. We are in South Langley right next to the south CVP entrance. We have a 80x200 indoor arena with jumps available. Large dry paddocks & grass pastures that all have shelters. Viewing room for ring, washstall, washroom, laundry, heated barn. Cameras in barn + arena and fire sprinklers throughout. Horses stay out 24/7 during summer/spring months unless it’s ugly weather out.

We have 1 spot available for August 1st. Includes a large paddock with a shelter, 12x12 stall, walk in tack locker, & grass turnout in summer. Full $1140 after tax. This is a temporary spot until November/December. Will have to have a spot to move to by then.

Cartwright Equestrian is located on a quiet street in South Langley. A two minute walk from the South entrance to Campbell Valley Park, and a five minute drive to High-Points trails. We are also roughly a 25 minute drive to Thunderbird show park.

Looking for someone to join our barn family! We are looking for an individual who can do both Saturday & Sunday AM shifts here at Cartwright Equestrian. We have a wonderful group of horses and boarders. We have 7 (and a mini😉) horses that are super easy to handle, no shenanigans. Heated barn with washroom. Hours are 7am-10am (can be a bit flexible) chores including feeding, turning out & stalls. Super relaxed barn, no one is usually here until the end of the shift so can relax while working. I would rather you take your time and enjoy than rush! Looking for someone who would want to stay long term, potentially taking on more shifts. Starting at $18 an hour, must have HCBC. Happy New Year!✨ We couldn’t have asked for a better 2021 than what we had. Met lots of lovely horse lovers and expanded our barn. We can’t wait for what 2022 brings Cartwright Equestrian 💛
