🐾 BIG NEWS! Safe Paws is heading to Pet Valu Stanley Park! 🐾

Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 20th! We are so excited to partner up once again with our amazing friends at the Pet Valu Stanley Park location in Kitchener for their annual Paw Month celebration! 🎉

The team at Pet Valu has been an incredible support to us over the last few years, helping us raise vital funds to tackle our ongoing veterinary debt. We couldn’t do this lifesaving work without them—or without YOU!

Here is what’s happening on June 20th:

⏰ Meet Safe Paws: We’ll be there from 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM. Come chat with us about fostering, volunteering, or just say a quick hello! If you’ve adopted from us before, we would absolutely love to see you and get an update on our alumni!

🐱🐶 Adoptable Animals: We might even have a few special adoptable guests with us (stay tuned to see who might be making an appearance!).

✂️ Nail Trim Fundraiser: Need a quick trim for your pet? Swing by between 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM (times may extend if it’s busy!) to get those paws pampered for a great cause.

Can't make it on the 20th? You can still help all month long!
From late May through June, Pet Valu is collecting donations and selling raffle tickets in-store. They have some incredible pet-themed gift baskets up for grabs (dog baskets, cat baskets, and mixed goodies)—so make sure to grab your tickets next time you're in the store!

Come out, support a local business, support rescue animals, and help us make this the most successful Paw Month yet. See you there! ❤️

Adoption Update - Morty’s pet parents reached out to let us know how he is settling into his new home! 🥹

“Here are some photos of Morty (now Blue) in his new home. He’s loving it! His favourite thing is supervised window time & his favourite room is where his bed is! He’s so playful & lovessss his cat grass! He is such a snuggle bug, we are so happy to have him here. 😽💛 Huge thank you petvalu, for making this happen!! xo”

Our team is so so happy to see Blue thriving with his new family! We miss his sweet face around here but it brings us such joy knowing we could be a part of his story! 💙

Stop by and meet Molly! 💜

Update! Adopted!!

Meet Molly—a gentle, resilient soul who arrived on the outskirts of Brussels, Ontario, alongside other cats. At first, Molly didn’t show any signs of pregnancy, so she went into quarantine. But as time passed, we discovered she was expecting. Sadly, her journey was filled with heartbreak—she lost all her babies (still born)and endured a difficult time, even going into heat again soon after. This was a powerful reminder of why spaying and neutering is so crucial. Molly bravely underwent surgery, and thankfully, her uterus was safe. We can only imagine how many times she went through this. But now, Molly is ready to find her forever home. She’s a sweet, affectionate girl who gets along beautifully with other cats and will thrive in a home with children. You can meet Molly in person at Pet Valu at Stanley Park Mall. Come give this brave girl the love she deserves!

Molly has been spayed and recovered perfectly, received rabies vaccine , parasite treatment, external and internal and she is also microchip.
