From time to time people tell me, “Lighten up, it’s just a dog,” or, “That’s a lot of money for just a dog.” They don’t understand the distance traveled, time spent, or costs involved for “Just a dog.” Some of my proudest moments have come about with “Just a dog.” Many hours have passed with my only company being “Just a dog” provided comfort and purpose to overcome the day. If you, too, think its

“Just a dog,” you will probably understand phrases like “Just a friend,” “Just a sunrise”, or “Just a promise”. “Just a dog” brings into my life the very essence of friendship, trust, and pure unbridled joy. “Just a dog” brings out the compassion and patience that makes me a better person. Because of “Just a dog” I will rise early, take long walks and look longingly to the future. For me and folks like me, it’s not “Just a dog.” It’s an embodiment of all the hopes and dreams of the future, the fond memories of the past, and the pure joy of the moment. “Just a dog” brings out what’s good in me and diverts my thoughts away from myself and the worries of the day. I hope that SOMEDAY people can understand it’s not “Just a dog.” It’s the thing that gives me humanity and keeps me from being “Just a man or woman.”

So the next time you hear the phrase “Just a dog”, smile, because they “Just Don't Understand”.

Just would like to thank all who reached out re the 3 10 month olds we had looking for new homes. All 3 girls have now been placed.

Spend 1/2 hour with Pixie on leash, did some obedience drills and this is the results. Walking nicely on leash, leave it drills and sit. She is the dog with breeder in green shirt. She is a sweet dog, smart very trainable.

This is a complimentary post for a friend of mine. These 10 month old females were sent to customs for training but did not have what they were looking for. They are currently in Montreal at customs training centre. They will be at my place weekend of August 8 th for viewing. Had all shots up to date. Fantastic pedigree, goes back to some of my lines. Great family or hunting companions. PM me for more details. They are all black not sure why some of the shots show chocolate. It is just the lighting.

Another litter has come and gone. Sadie who I co own with Ashley Carlson is a beautiful yellow female out of my Prairies Storm Snafu and Someday Hill Billy Bonkers call named Boomer. Most of these pups carried the dark fox red colouring.

Over 30 years in the industry breeding Labrador Retrievers. My plan is 2 more years and I will retire. I will pass my knowledge and gene pool onto Ashley to carry on. So get your orders in now before SOMEDAY becomes a memory of the past. Love all the smiling faces. Always a joy to see on pick up day.
