We’re so excited to welcome Jenna back for a clinic 🥳. This clinic is welcome to everyone, including lesson students, and haul ins.
Meet Your Clinician: Jenna Mayor
Jenna Mayor is bringing an elite showjumping education back to Thunder Bay this holiday season. Her coaching philosophy is unique: it combines the meticulous knowledge gained working on the FEI circuit with the technical precision of a respected rider.
Jenna’s career began at the pinnacle of the sport with Torrey Pines Stable. Working as both a rider and FEI groom for Canadian Olympic icons Eric Lamaze and Tiffany Foster, she mastered the management of high-performance equine athletes. This experience instilled in her an unwavering commitment to the horse; care, conditioning, and developing specific exercises and techniques that she passes on to every student.
Transitioning to the American hunter system, Jenna honed her skills under the legendary Carleton Brooks at Balmoral. Here, she played a key role in riding, prepping, and showing a vast spectrum of horses—from developing green division ponies and polished 3’6" Performance Hunters to schooling 1.10m Jumpers. She learned the "Balmoral Standard" of presentation and rideability that wins in top company.
Jenna’s resume features significant tenures with Quincy and Darcy Hayes at Angelstone Events and Highland Farm in Palos Verdes, California. Her commitment to these programs produced consistent results, including Series and Year-End Champions in Green and Division Ponies, Children’s Hunters, and Performance Hunters, while developing Junior/Amateur jumpers up to the 1.30m level.
Jenna is no stranger to the local winner's circle. She successfully guided the team at Amanda’s Green Barn to Gold Show Championships and 3’ Hunter Derby victories, proving her system works for Thunder Bay riders. This Christmas clinic is a rare opportunity to learn from a professional who has bridged the gap between the local circuit and the international stage.
Clinic will be held December 27 and December 28 at Amanda’s Green Barn.
$250/lesson (approximately 1.5h lessons).
