At DME Summer Camp, campers get:
🐎 Daily riding time!
🧽 Hands-on Stable Management
🌞 Outdoor games, horsey fun, and all the crafts!
💛 A chance to build confidence, make memories, and actually learn while they laugh!

Say hi to Grace - one of our returning DME camp counsellors! 🦋

She's been with us since she was four, and this will be her third summer as a camp counsellor! 🤯

"Hi, my name is Grace, and this is my third year as a DME camp counsellor, and I am so excited to be back for another fun-filled summer! This summer, I am showing at Angelstone with Sailor, who you might know from the academy! My all-time favourite school horse is Moose, he taught me a lot. I have been coming to camp myself since I was 4, and barn chores were always my favourite activity. I loved learning about how to care for the horses I was riding! I can’t wait for you to join me this summer at camp!"

"Hi! I'm Emily, and I started riding when I was seven. I'm showing Mini at Hamilton Hunt this year, and my favourite school horse is Sunny! When I'm not at the barn, I love playing sports and spending time with my friends. I can't wait to meet all the campers this summer!"

Meet Brooklyn— another one of our 2025 DME Camp Counsellors!

She’s been riding for almost 9 years, just wrapped up her first year at DME, and is showing the 2’0 jumpers this season with Yoshi. Her favourite school horse? Rosie. No contest. 🐴

💬 "Hi, my name is Brooklyn, and it’s my first summer working camp! I’ve been riding horses for roughly 9 years and coming up on my 1 year riding for DME! I’m showing the 2’0 jumpers at Hamilton Hunt with Yoshi. My favourite school horse will definitely be Rosie!

Fun fact: I love swimming! I’m so excited to share my love for this sport with everyone and create lots of memories this summer!"

Meet Jess—one of our returning 2025 DME Camp Counsellors!

With 8 years of barn experience and three years on our camp team, Jess brings kindness and just the right amount of creative energy to brighten every camper’s day🐴🎨

💬 "Hi, my name is Jess! This is my third year working camp at DME. I've been riding at DME for almost 8 years. I currently ride Topenga in the riding school, and she is my favourite school horse. Some of my favourite camp activities include tie-dye and my all-time favourite, painting the horses!

Some fun facts about me are that I love Twizzlers, and I also have a twin sister! I also love to hang out with my two Huskies, Miska and Ozzy. My favourite summer activity, other than camp, is going jet skiing on the lake!

So excited to meet and have a blast with all of you this summer!"

She’s got a heart for horses, a talent for baking, and a show record that proves she’s ready for a summer full of fun. 💛🐴

💬 "Hi, my name is Abigail! This will be my second year being a camp counsellor, and I’m so happy to have some fun this year. I’m currently showing at AngelStone in the .80 and .90 with my part-board horse, Mini. I also love to ride some of the school horses for fun—my favourite is Jorja!

A fun fact about me: In my free time outside of the barn, I love to bake and make super yummy treats!"
