🐴✨ SHOW PREP IS WELL UNDERWAY! ✨🐴
Saturday is coming FAST, and you know what that means around here…
LET THE CHAOS BEGIN! 🤣
As bathing, braiding and tack cleaning begins later today, things are about to get VERY busy around the barn!
But for now… THIS has begun!
The preparations are underway, the excitement is building, and we’re getting our crew ready to hit the show this Saturday!
👀 Stay posted because the REAL show-prep chaos starts later TODAY!
There will be baths. There will be braids. There will be sparkling tack. There will probably be a few “WHERE DID I PUT THAT?!” moments… and we’re here for ALL of it.
Here we go, Rein In crew — SHOW WEEKEND IS ALMOST HERE!

⛈️ When the storms roll in and Mother Nature forces us to cancel programming… apparently that means it’s time to CLEAN THE BARN! 😂🧹🐴
A HUGE thank you to Seana for literally getting up into the rafters and tackling ALLLLL those cobwebs!
Seriously, I have the most amazing barn kids and barn family. ❤️ Whether we’re riding, running programs, mucking stalls or hanging from the rafters with a duster in hand — everyone always jumps in and gets it done.
Storm day = barn cleaning day!
Thank you, Seana Neilson — those rafters haven’t looked this good in a loooong time!

Someone is NOT a happy girl!
But Miss Athena, we promise — we’re doing this to help keep you healthy and potentially save your life!
Does anyone know why Miss Athena has to wear a grazing muzzle? 🤔
Drop your guesses in the comments below! 👇 And if you’re not sure, here’s a little explanation…
What does it mean when a horse is “metabolic”?
Some horses have Equine Metabolic Syndrome (EMS) or insulin dysregulation. In simple terms, their body doesn’t handle sugar the way a metabolically healthy horse does.
Think of it a little like insulin resistance in people. When Athena eats grass—especially grass high in sugars—her body can have an exaggerated insulin response. For certain horses, that can dramatically increase their risk of laminitis, a painful and potentially life-threatening condition affecting the feet.
And here’s the tricky part: grass can be incredibly high in sugar at certain times of the year.
That’s where Athena’s not-so-fashionable accessory comes in. 😂 Her grazing muzzle allows her to still be outside, move around, socialize with her herd and nibble grass, while limiting how much grass she can consume.
So while Athena may be giving us the “I’m calling my lawyer” look… 🤣
The muzzle isn’t a punishment. It’s part of keeping her safe, comfortable and healthy. ❤️
Sometimes loving our horses means making choices they definitely would NOT vote for.
and OMG the MUD!!!😭😭 Rain Rain go away....

🐴 Tuesday Vibes with Harlow & Mars! 🐴
Nothing says “Happy Tuesday” quite like a great ride, a sweet horse, and apparently… a little roadside bouquet for Mars. 😂
Harlow and Mars reminding us that sometimes the best moments are the simple ones — sunshine, horses, fresh air, and a whole lot of smiles.
Here’s your Tuesday reminder to slow down, enjoy the ride, and stop to smell the flowers… or eat them, if you’re Mars.
Happy Tuesday from our Rein In family!

“Sunday is your reminder that you don’t have to have it all figured out. Slow down, breathe deep, spend time where your heart feels at home, and trust that a new week will meet you exactly where you are.
Here’s to quiet moments, grateful hearts, and a little more time doing what makes your soul happy.
Happy Sunday.

🌸 SATURDAY REMINDER 🌸
As we head into the weekend, here are a few things worth remembering.
Life doesn’t always move in a straight line. Some weeks we make huge strides, and others we simply do our best to make it through — both count.
Setbacks don’t mean you’ve failed.
Boundaries don’t make you selfish.
Rest doesn’t mean you’re lazy.
And those thoughts running through your head? They aren’t always telling you the truth.
Give yourself the same patience, kindness and grace you would so freely give someone else.
Around here, our horses remind us of this every single day. They don’t worry about yesterday or rush toward tomorrow. They simply meet us right where we are today.
So maybe this Saturday, take a page from their book…
Slow down. Breathe. Set the boundary. Take the nap. Go outside. Spend time doing something that fills your cup.
You don't have to have everything figured out today. Just keep going!

❤️ We Wouldn’t Change This Life for Anything ❤️
Some days are long. Some are muddy. Some are exhausting. Some definitely don’t go according to plan.
But at the end of the day, we wouldn’t change this life for anything.
We get to spend our days surrounded by incredible horses, amazing clients, determined students, and families who trust us to be part of their journey.
We get to watch confidence grow, fears get a little smaller, friendships form, goals get reached, and those quiet little moments happen between a horse and a human that sometimes don’t need any words at all.
We laugh. We learn. We get dirty. We work hard. We celebrate the wins — big and small — and we’re there for each other through the harder days too.
These horses give us so much more than we could ever put into words, and the people who walk through our barn doors are what make this place feel like so much more than just a barn.
This isn’t just what we do.
It’s a life we truly love.
And if we had the chance to choose it all over again — the early mornings, late nights, muddy boots, hay in absolutely EVERYTHING, and all…
We’d choose it every single time. ❤️
