🔥🥵☀️ Hot one today! ☀️🥵🔥

We’re soaking up the sunshine but this heat can be tough on our pets, so here’s your reminder to help keep them safe:

🐾 Keep pets indoors or in a cool shaded area
💧 Make sure they always have fresh, cool water available
🌅 Walk early in the morning or later in the evening when it’s cooler
🚫 Skip the walk altogether if the pavement is too hot—it’s okay to rest until temps come down
🐶 Short-snouted breeds like Bulldogs, Pugs & Frenchies are especially vulnerable in this heat, so keep a close eye on them

🚗 And please—never leave your pet in a vehicle. Not even for a minute. Not even with the windows cracked.

If you see a stray animal out in this heat, please try to safely contain them if you can and call the police or local animal services.

🌊🐒 Happy Sea Monkey Day! 🐒🌊

Did anyone else think Sea Monkeys were the coolest pets ever as a kid? 😂
Watching those tiny little creatures swim around their tank was strangely mesmerizing… even if they didn’t quite look like the pictures on the package. 😅

These tiny “instant pets” brought a lot of childhood excitement and probably taught many of us our very first lessons about caring for animals. 💙

Cancer is something many pet families face, and early detection can make a big difference. Our pets can’t tell us when something feels wrong, so it’s important to watch for changes and schedule regular veterinary checkups.

Some signs to watch for can include:
• Lumps or bumps that are new or changing
• Unexplained weight loss
• Changes in appetite
• Difficulty eating or swallowing
• Persistent limping or stiffness
• Unusual bleeding, odours, or sores that don’t heal
• Changes in energy levels or behaviour

Not every lump or symptom is cancer, but it’s always best to have changes checked sooner rather than later. Early diagnosis often means more treatment options and better outcomes. 💙
