It's taken me a few days to muster up the strength to share an update on our old boy, Hurley… 💔
At 14 years old, Hurley had been slowly declining over the past year, with a more noticeable change in recent months that began to affect his quality of life. As heartbreaking as it was, we knew it was time to make the most difficult decision a pet parent ever has to make.

Last Friday at 3:45 p.m., we said our final goodbye and helped our beautiful boy cross the Rainbow Bridge. We laid him to rest beneath our crab apple tree in my dog garden, where he will forever hold a special place in our hearts. 🌳❤️

Run free, little man, with Dozer, Hershey, and Hugo. No more pain, just endless fields to explore, roses to smell, and heaven rats to chase to your heart’s content. 🌈🐾
Heaven gained another angel, but our home feels a little emptier without you here. He spent 7 of his Fourteen years with us. The love, memories, and companionship we shared will never be enough, and the paw prints you’ve left on our hearts will last a lifetime.

Until we meet again, sweet Hurley. You were loved beyond words, and you always will be. ❤️🐾

It's exciting to introduce this brand new breed to canada ... we are proud to be a part of promoting, educating and preserving of this remarkable ancient breed.

When a “new” breed strides into a show ring as part of the American Kennel Club family, it’s an exciting time for owners and breeders as they witness their hard work coming to fruition. But it’s also a chance for the rest of us to discover a breed whose story began long before its name appeared in an AKC catalog. “New” to the ring, after all, doesn’t mean new to the world. For the Peruvian Inca Orchid, that distinction is everything.

Get the details on our sister page, National Purebred Dog Day Community—where sharing more than two links a month doesn’t come with a cover charge. Just copy and paste National Purebred Dog Day Community in the search bar and join us.
