The Rescue advocates and provides loving foster care for dogs and cats, that have been abandoned, abused or surrendered and prepares them to be adopted.

It's soup season, and we've got a tasty way to support rescue dogs and cats!

We're partnering with The Soup Company for a fundraiser running November 1–22. They make their soup mixes locally, and there are plenty of options to choose from, along with baking mixes and treats.

Soup packages are $16 each, and one package makes approximately 8–10 cups. There are also cornmeal muffins and cookie mixes available.

Whether you're stocking up for the colder months, looking for an easy meal to have on hand, or just want to try something new, your order helps support animals in need.

How to order:

Email your order details to [email protected].

Send your e-transfer of $16 per item to the same email address and include "soup fundraiser" in the notes.

Pickup will be available in North Edmonton (Crystallina) or South Edmonton (Walker), approximately 2–3 weeks after the fundraiser ends. We'll contact you when your order is ready.

The fundraiser runs until November 22, so there's time to get your orders in!

Marcie is seriously the sweetest kitten🥰🥹

She is playful, adventurous, and loves dogs, cats, kids and all people. She has attended several adoption events and did amazing with meeting new people.

She's now at Pet Valu soaking up all the love from employees and customers. And hoping her forever home will find her soon.

Three dogs. Three lives that need a little help right now. ❤️

Meet Toby, the big white floof! He's 6 years old and looking for a foster home after his owner, who has cancer, had to leave the country.

We don't know a whole lot about Toby yet. He previously lived in an adults-only home, so we're unsure how he is with children. We also recommend slow introductions to any resident dogs while we get to know him better.

Alongside Toby, there are two young boys, both under a year old, who also need foster homes.

All three need somewhere safe to land, and we need your help to make that happen.

Could you open your home to one of them? Even fostering temporarily can make a huge difference.

Please consider fostering. They all need us right now. ❤️

AMAZING NEWS🙏😭❤️

Wow! What a relief! Carter has been found and secured. He seems physically unharmed but we will be examined by one of our partner vets.

After escaping and running off on the evening of Oct 27th, our volunteers and people from the community immediately took action and tried to help find Carter. And we are so incredibly grateful for every person who helped or showed they cared ❤️
It was an intense 2.5 days of searching, worrying, coordinating, etc for our team.

Carter is now safely back in his foster home, will be wearing a GPS tracker 24/7 and will be given time to decompress and recover.
Please don't ask us about adopting him at this point. We get it, he's really cute! But he needs time and patience right now and is not ready for adoption.

Meet Bumblebee, Benny & Opi! 🐝☀️🌱

These three little personalities are ready to find their forever homes! ❤️

Bumblebee is our fearless little adventurer, Benny is a fluffy ball of sunshine, and Opi is a brave little sweetheart whose confidence keeps growing every day.

They each have their own personality, but they all have a few things in common: they love to play, explore, wrestle with toys and kitten friends, and soak up the love once they’re ready for a cuddle.

They don’t need to be adopted together, but each will need a friendly, playful young cat in their forever home. A feline friend to play with, learn from, and grow up alongside is a must! 🐾

🎸 Calling all local musicians and bands!

We’re excited to partner with Parsons Animal Rescue Foundation for our first Battle of the Bands Fundraiser on November 28th at Cook County Saloon!

Applications are open to local amateur musicians and bands in country and rock, with acoustic and full band categories. There are cash prizes up for grabs, and it’s a chance to put your talent on stage while supporting animals in need! 🐾

⏰ APPLICATION DEADLINE: OCTOBER 30 AT MIDNIGHT!

Not every dog in rescue is right for adoption. Some have medical needs, ongoing health concerns, or special circumstances that mean the best place for them is right where they are: in the loving care of their forever foster family.

A 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 is a dog or cat who remains in our rescue’s care long-term, receiving the love, stability, food, medical attention, and ongoing support they need to live their best life. Their foster family provides the home, and we help cover the costs of their care.
