Once upon a time, in a cozy foster home not so far away, lived a legendary little creature known as Joe the Slug-osaurous. Part cuddle bug, part adventure buddy, and part professional snack enthusiast, Joe is on a quest to find his forever kingdom (preferably one with a soft couch and snacks within reach).

Joe’s signature move? The “Slug Slide” — gracefully gliding across grass, snow, or dirt with his belly low to the ground, soaking in all the textures. It’s both adorable and guaranteed to make you laugh.

When he’s not on a grand outdoor expedition, Joe transforms into a certified cuddle champion. His favorite place in the whole world? Your lap… or your bed… or honestly, anywhere he can be as close to you as physically possible. That’s a work in progress (he’s learning that sharing = caring).

They are now warm, fed, and no longer in immediate danger. But they urgently need foster homes to give them the stability they need to grow, recover, and learn what it means to be safe.

We thought we were getting answers for Poppi. Instead, we learned her condition is even more rare and complex than anyone expected.

Right now, a team of veterinarians and specialists is reviewing her case and carefully considering the safest path forward. While we wait for more answers, Poppi is being closely monitored and working on gaining weight so she can stay as healthy and strong as possible.

The uncertainty is difficult, but one thing hasn't changed: Poppi's spirit. Despite everything she's facing, she's still a happy, playful puppy who loves life.

Thank you to everyone who has followed her journey, shared her story, purchased raffle tickets, donated, and sent words of encouragement. Your support has helped make her ongoing care possible.
