The garden is completely supported by volunteer gardeners and volunteer donations. The Green & Gold Community Garden is a collaboration between the School of Public Health and the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Alberta.

Haskap blossoms. One of the very first blossoms to appear in the spring and one of the first fruit crops to set and ripen. Did you know? You must plant two different varieties that bloom at the same time in order for the plant to cross-pollinate and produce fruit. Plus they are super tasty!
