Fluffy's Adoption Story ❤️

When Lorna first locked eyes with Fluffy at the Edmonton Humane Society, it was love at first sight — and its been a journey full of adoration ever since.

Adopted in 2014 as a kitten, Fluffy has been living the good life with his guardians for the past 12 years, enjoy all of his favourite things. Eating, sleeping, playing with his catnip mice, getting kisses from his 'meowmies' and, probably his most endearing pastime, watching TV 📺 We're told that Fluffy's favourite show is Golden Girls 🤭

Overall, Fluffy is just the perfect companion for his people. "Fluffy has such a beautiful personality. He's a real gentle soul!" Lorna says.

We wish Fluffy, Lorna and the rest of the family many more years of cuddles, kisses and head boops 🥰

And just like that, our 34th annual festival has wrapped up! Thank you to everyone - both people and pets - who joined us yesterday 💚

Whether you paw-ticipated in the EHS Walk/Run for Pets, visited the festival, volunteered, sponsored the event, hosted a booth or stopped by to show your support, we're so grateful to have such an incredible community that cares so deeply about animals in need.

Because of your support, we surpassed our Walk/Run fundraising goal of $34,000, raising an incredible $39,776 for the animals who rely on us! 🎉

A special round of ap-paws goes to this year's Walk/Run Ambassador, Chelsea Bird, and to Daintre Christensen for another year of emceeing this pawesome festival 🐾

We're also grateful to all of the sponsors, exhibitors, vendors and community partners who helped make this year's event possible.
