Guinness' Adoption Story ❤️
Guinness' journey to finding a home didn't start out in the typical manner. In November 2019, Laura spotted an injured pup hobbling around her neighbourhood and alerted the Animal Care & Control Centre - Edmonton (ACCC). Needing surgery for a broken leg, he was transferred into the care of the Edmonton Humane Society, where Laura was able to reunite with him.
"I went to visit Guinness at EHS post-surgery and ended up adopting him because he was such a good boy," Laura remembers.
Guinness' leg injury resulted in an amputation, but years later, he's not letting that slow him down. "He’s still so fast at running and swims amazing!" Laura tells us.
When asked why Laura chose Guinness to be a part of her family, the answer is simple: "I love Guinness for his sweet eyes and love for couch snuggles. He’s so loyal and has been my best friend since day one."
A heart-felt thank you to Laura for helping Guinness receive the medical care he so desperately needed, and then welcoming him into her home as if he had been there all along ❤️
We wish this pair many more happy years of cuddles and adventures!
