🐾 New Challenges Added to Our Outdoor Fenced Private Dog Park! 🐾

We’ve added a few new pieces of fun and challenging equipment to our outdoor dog park at Rolling Gait Canine Centre! These natural obstacles encourage confidence, balance, coordination, and plenty of exploration for dogs of all ages, sizes and abilities.

And before the dogs tried them out, they were thoroughly tested by our toughest inspector! ✅ Kid-tested and approved!

Whether your dog loves climbing, balancing, jumping, or simply exploring something new, there’s plenty of fun waiting for them.

Book a visit and come check out the new additions for yourself. We can’t wait to see your dogs enjoying them!

NSDTRC Sprinter Test suggested running order. Please note this is just a suggested running order and we realize we are working around conformation and other performance event times, we will do our best to accommodate you and your dogs. When your dog(s) is/are ready and available to run, come to the secretary table on the outside of the sprinter track for a gait check. The releaser can get in line with the dog under the canopy. You will get a slip of paper that the catcher will take to the table at the end of the sprinter track where catcher will pick up with your recorded time. Once you dog is caught, please take the path behind the training arena so as not to distract the next dog running.

Most of all, have fun.

🏁 What is CKC Sprinter? 🏁

Have you ever wondered just how fast your dog can run?

CKC Sprinter is a fun and exciting Canadian Kennel Club performance event where dogs chase a lure down a straight 100-metre course while their time is recorded. Dogs of all breeds and sizes can participate, and handicap scoring based on height helps level the playing field. As dogs accumulate points, they can earn official CKC Sprinter titles.

One of the best things about Sprinter is that it’s suitable for both seasoned canine athletes and first-time competitors. The atmosphere is welcoming, supportive, and full of cheering as dogs race down the track doing what they love most—running!

We are proud to host CKC Sprinter events here at Rolling Gait Canine Centre, where competitors and spectators can enjoy a safe, well-organized venue while watching dogs reach top speed and have an absolute blast. Our recent events hosted with the Thames Centre Performance Club have been a success, and we look forward to more in the future.

Lots of activity around Rolling Gait Canine Centre as Amanda McAllister and Sydney Robinson, both members of the Canadian Professional Handlers Association (CPHA), prepare for the upcoming Erie Shores Kennel Club dog show!

From grooming and conditioning to final training touches, it's all hands on deck as they get their canine clients ready to shine in the show ring.

If you're interested in having your dog professionally handled and presented at upcoming dog shows, we'd be happy to help. Contact Amanda or Sydney to discuss your goals and learn more about their professional handling services.

Good luck to all exhibitors heading to Erie Shores—we look forward to seeing everyone there!

⚠️ Heads Up! ⚠️

We're getting our grounds prepared so we can offer herding events at Rolling Gait Canine Centre. For your safety, please don't use the parking lot as a dog play area right now.

We're busy installing and moving fencing, and until everything is finished and secured, the fencing is not escape-proof. A curious pup could easily find a way out into the horse pasture.

Thanks for your patience while we make improvements! We can't wait to show off the new herding setup soon.

💥 MBISS Can GChB BISS Am Ch Bulldacious Don’t Crack Under Pressure NTD (“Tag”) earned a Group 1, two Group 2, a Group 3 and a Group 4 placement.

✨ Our Chihuahua, Can Ch Am Ch Knockout Miso Rogish (“Rogue”), co-owned with Paula Race and bred by Kristi Green, also added a Group 3 placement!

On the home front Rolling Gait Canine Centre was host to a Thames Centre Performance Club Sprinter Test day. We were able to run both Rye (Chesapeake bay Retriever) and Tinder (Chihuahua). On Friday we welcomed a litter of bulldogs with 3 males and 3 females out of Stix and by Clifford.

We are truly blessed with amazing friends around us who make this possible. We are incredibly proud of these dogs and look forward to what gets slung our way next! ❤️🐾

Big day at Rolling Gait Canine Centre — we’ve officially started putting up the fencing for our upcoming herding events! 🐑🐕

It’s exciting to see everything starting to come together, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone out for future herding trials, training sessions, and fun events. We’ve put a lot of time and effort into creating a safe, enjoyable space for livestock, dogs and handlers, and we’re really looking forward to sharing it with the canine community.

Stay tuned for more updates as we keep moving ahead with preparations — we hope to see you at an event soon!
