We are looking for another veterinary technician (RVT or VT) to assist us at Pine Holistic Veterinary Office, in Collingwood, Ontario.

The ideal candidate should have an interest in holistic practices and at least 1 year of veterinary technician experience. Good communication skills are a must. The candidate must be capable of working as a team and independently and will be involved in all areas of the veterinary practice: technician/nursing and client services. Our files are all computerized in a Cloud based system, so comfort working with computer systems is a must.

Candidates will be trained to perform integrative treatments such as ozone, PHOVIA, and therapeutic LASER. Training in the concepts of Chinese medicine is also offered. Conventional diagnostics and treatments are also performed. We have in-house diagnostic lab and use external reference labs.

No weekends/statutory holidays. Work a 4-5 day work week. No on-call, surgery, dentistry, radiology, or overnight patients.

Missing cat.

On Monday afternoon, June 2nd our tabby cat went missing. He is grey, black and white with a mark in the middle of his nose. He has an exceptionally long fluffy tail that he gracefully carries. Please note that Norm is friendly and would go to anyone. We believe that Norm may have inadvertently entered a blue four door car, from Collingwood, carrying a family of four. This happened mid afternoon, around 2:00. Norm is a dear family member and we are heartbroken with his disappearance.
We live on a farm in Creemore.

Sadly, Amber is leaving Pine Holistic Veterinary Office. She is leaving to pursue a dream. She is moving out West to live in a "tiny house" and live off the land. We will be sad to see her leave at the end of May, but we are excited for the new chapter in her life.
