Wow, what a weekend at our Aldergrove SDDA trial! A huge thank you to judge Pam Koiner for setting some fun and challenging hides all weekend, and also for considering the dogs and the blazing sun and changing the search area when needed!
There was never a dull moment at this trial - between the loose horse (thankfully during lunch break and it didn't come anywhere near any dogs), and the obsessed barn cat who really wanted to try all the search areas!
Despite the heat, there were so many smiling faces and happy dogs who came out to play this awesome game! We were incredibly happy to give out 3 brand new Advanced titles, several new Games titles, a CHAMP and a Master CHAMP ribbon!
A gigantic round of applause to all our volunteers who really saved the day and kept things flowing. We really couldn't do this without you and I'm constantly amazed by how helpful and generous the NW community is.
Last but certainly not least, a big shout out to Bones Pet Store in Vancouver (Kits) and One Bite Dog Treats in Mission for their generous donations of goodies for us to give away this weekend!! There were alot of happy people, and likely very happy dogs that will be the recipient of those goodies!
The next K9 Scentinels trials will be Sept. 19th in North Saanich, and Oct. 25th in Langley. Hope to see you all again there!
