What a great day at our trial at PRDA in Langley on Sunday, October 25! A huge thank you to judge Danielle Getzie for setting challenging, fun Elite searches across both trials and to PRDA for welcoming us (and our dogs) onto their property.
The day started with some unplanned excitement and we’re so grateful to everyone for going with the flow and being so understanding as we made do with what we had on hand. A special thanks to our last-minute supplier of containers, who saved us a lot of stress!
Well...we all know that Elite is meant to be hard and the venue and Danielle’s hides made sure of it! The dogs worked through a buffet of cat, horse and owl smells, plus a resident cat who was a bit vocal and had opinions about where it was relocated during the interior searches. With all that, we had one title earned across the two trials and there were some impressively fast passes in exterior and containers!
We also want to thank the porta potty for its heroic service while the horses’ watering schedule took the indoor plumbing offline for part of the day.
A gigantic thank you to all of our non-competing volunteers, who kept everything running smoothly. We couldn’t do this without you!
Big thanks as well to Paw Street Market and Jax & Co Pet Supplies (Ocean Park) for donating the Judge’s Choice baskets.
Our next trial is November 22 in Richmond and registration opens November 4 at 7:00 pm Pacific. Hope to see you there!
Thank you all for supporting our first trial. We hope you had as much fun as we did! 💙
