I’ve spent my life working with animals, and moments like this never get old. There’s a connection that’s hard to explain unless you’ve experienced it yourself.
Animals don’t care about titles.
They don’t care about credentials.
They don’t care about what you say you are.
They simply respond to how you show up.
When an animal trusts you enough to lean in, seek you out, and shower you with affection, it’s a pretty special feeling.
You can’t fake that connection.
You can’t fake that trust.
You can’t fake that frequency.
This sweet soul decided to thank me with kisses today, and honestly, I think I’m the lucky one.
