🚨 Poor Air Quality Alert for Dogs 🚨
Wildfire smoke isn’t just dangerous for humans—it’s harmful for our dogs too. If the air smells smoky or looks hazy, it’s time to take extra precautions. Dogs are more sensitive to poor air quality, especially puppies, seniors, and brachycephalic breeds (like Bulldogs & Pugs).

💨 If the AQI (Air Quality Index) is over 100, start taking precautions.

🐾 Safety Tips for Dogs During Wildfire Smoke:
1. 🏠 Limit outdoor time—keep walks short & potty breaks quick.
2. 🐶 No strenuous play or fetch during smoky days.
3. 🌬️ Use air purifiers indoors if possible.
4. 🚗 Avoid car rides with windows down.
5. 🌿 Don’t let them sniff or roll in ash or debris.
6. 💧 Ensure constant access to fresh water.
7. 🩺 Monitor for coughing, wheezing, or fatigue.
8. 🐾 Wipe paws and fur after outdoor exposure.
9. 🐕 Use indoor enrichment toys to burn energy safely.
10. 📞 Call your vet if you notice any breathing changes or irritation.

Keep your pack safe—check your local AQI daily and stay indoors when needed.
