Willow likes to take her time getting to know new people, and that’s perfectly okay. 💛

After a little while, curiosity won, and she made her way downstairs to supervise Ashley while dinner was being made. Safe to say Ashley passed the inspection.

Every pet moves at their own pace, and we’re always happy to let them set it.

🐾 Adoption Spotlight: Roy 🐾

Meet Roy, a gentle giant with an even bigger heart. ❤️

Roy is looking for his forever home through the Calgary Humane Society. He loves getting out for leisurely walks, then finding a shady spot in the park where he can sit back, relax, and watch the world go by with his favourite person.

Ashley had the pleasure of spending a furlow day with this handsome boy, and it’s safe to say he stole a few hearts along the way.

🐾 Fun Fact: Scottish Folds 🐾

Those adorable folded ears aren’t just a cute feature—they’re caused by a natural genetic mutation that affects cartilage throughout the body. Not every kitten in a Scottish Fold litter is born with folded ears, though! They all start with straight ears, and if they’re going to fold, it usually happens when they’re around 3–4 weeks old.

Yumi definitely knows how to make those iconic ears and big round eyes work in her favour. 🩶
