What an amazing honour for our student, George Balderston to be awarded the Linda Southern-Heathcott Horsemanship Scholarship for the ‘Continental’ at Spruce Meadows!

Awarded to those who demonstrate a deep respect for their horse, strong work ethic behind the scenes, and a genuine love for the journey, we can’t think of anyone more deserving of this.

The Stone Ridge team kicked off summer series with some great rounds! Weekend highlights include:

7th | Victoria Stephenson and Gunfire PJ, 1.20

Top 12 | George Balderston and Hakim Ourai VD Zeshoek, 1.20

Emrey Lytwyn and L’Esperance La Vie Z with consistent rounds in a competitive 1.30 division

Olivia Stephenson and both Lovejoy JK SR and Menella Blue putting in solid trips in the 1.30, 1.40 and 1.20 division, respectively

George Balderston and Galahad putting together great rounds in the 1.30 division

CSF Princess Blue and Bretton Chad closed out the week with a double clear effort for fourth in a field of 56 starters in the $10,000 Coril Holdings 1.30m. 🙌🏼

Capitale 6 and Charlie Jones jumped great in the 1.60m Duncan Ross Grand Prix presented by Rolex, just missing the top 12 with a light rail. 👏🏼

It was a great Saturday for the Stone Ridge team at the ‘Continental’!

Charlie Jones and Montserrat OS jumped to 🥉 in the Coril Holdings 1.30m out of 43 starters.

Victoria Stephenson and Gunfire PJ jumped double clear to finish 7th in a very competitive 1.20m Open, with George Balderston and Hakim close behind in 12th.

Charlie Jones and Jacksonville Eurohill jumped clear over the fences in the French Family Cup 1.40m.

We’re excited to welcome Emrey Lytwyn and her horses, L’Esperance La Vie Z, Gold D’Olbiche, and Fiventum Kieni to the Stone Ridge team! Emrey is very competitive in the 1.30m division with big goals for the 2025 season. Next up: Spruce Meadows!
