Canadian National 2025 is a wrap. It was a great event. The committee was amazing and we gave our participants a show I hope they will remember.
From the beautiful collars from MyLeash and the ribbons from Central Alberta Ribbons placed in beautiful Shadow boxes put together by me and my sister Philippa, to the venue and fabulous dinner hosted at Big Sky BBQ by Chamberwood Kennels and the generous support from Tilted Barn Pet Company I think it was fabulous.
Our Clarity family also did amazing.
Our old girl Beans made an appearance in Veterans with Alison. It was lovely to see her in the ring.
The next generation from out CJ x Beans litter also made a splash. With Huck receiving 2nd award of Merit, Waylon receiving Best Altered in Specialty, and Zena awarded Best Brood Bitch with Hazel and Sprout.
Then the next next generation from our Hugo x Zena litter. Hazel and Sarah showed beautifully earning Select Bitch. Miley and Alannah worked beautifully as a team earning Winners Bitch. And Sprout floated around the ring with Alison into 1st Award of Merit, Best Field Bitch, and Best Pointing Bitch.
Then... The littlest in our family (Huck's get, from Huck x Tikka litter at Chamberwood Kennels) also showed beautifully with R***r and Carrie being awarded Select Dog and Best Bred By exhibitor, and Huntley recieving the third Award of Merit.
Miley, Waylon, Hazel and Huck all played on the other side of the filed in agility and rally obedience. Gotta love a versatile gundog.
Thank you Mojave Dobermans Alison for piloting Sprout around the ring, and Firepoint German Shorthaired Pointers Reg. Janna for taking Waylon in. Thank you amazing Clarity families David Rayner for your unending support, Sarah, and Alannah Alannimals you are truly why I do this.
