After-hours veterinary teletriage support by Registered Veterinary Technologists. Our expert team of RVTs has an average of 15 years of experience.

Animal HealthLink (AHL) provides remote triage, aka "TeleTriage" services for veterinary practices. We act as an extension of veterinary practices and provide professional, competent, and compassionate service to veterinary clients. AHL TeleTriage service is designed by and for veterinary professionals to integrate with primary care, emergency, and referral facilities. AHL helps on-call practices by a 75% reduction in after-hours phone calls. We also provide appropriate advice and reassurance to those clients during those stressful calls. We work hard to ensure veterinary teams are well-rested and set up for success for the true emergencies and are the best version of themselves during the day. Our ER hospital services allow hospital staff to focus on the critical patient in front of them. Blending TeleTriage and in-person care revolutionizes ER workflow and redeploys critical staff to improve patient care and hospital efficiency. Integration of TeleTriage into ER workflows results in staff retention, improved hospital profitability, and most importantly - patient care. We created AHL with the vision to improve the lives of veterinary professionals and the patients they serve.

Our mission is to give veterinary professionals the ability to focus on what they do best: taking care of the patient. NOTE: Animal HealthLink only works in conjunction with accredited/certified veterinary practices in North America. The TeleTriage service is only accessible through those veterinary practices.

Thank you to Dr. Marie Holowaychuk for welcoming our CEO, Leilani Mustillo, for this important conversation. We're proud to sponsor this episode of Reviving Vet Med!

RVTs are our whole business.

Animal HealthLink was built around the belief that RVTs have so much to offer veterinary medicine when their expertise is recognized, trusted, and given room to grow. We owe our accomplishments as a company to the skilled, compassionate RVTs who make our work possible every day.

Yet across the profession, busy clinics, established workflows, and limited autonomy can leave RVTs without the chance to fully apply their education, experience, and clinical judgment. That's a lot of untapped potential, even when clinics value their techs.

We believe the future of veterinary medicine is something we can shape together. Employers can create space for RVTs to grow and lead, while RVTs can help create new possibilities by bringing forward ideas and identifying opportunities to contribute.

Whether in clinical practice, teletriage, education, leadership, entrepreneurship, or something else, RVTs are helping shape the future of our profession.

This RVT Month, we wanted to acknowledge our incredible team and shine a light on an issue that hits close to home for us.

RVTs deserve opportunities that reflect what they're capable of, work for them and their families, and reward them for the expertise they bring.
