Sunday got to try official competition today under uki in speedstakes.

Little man did pretty awesome!
Definitely looking forward to the next opportunity, and super stoked to continue training and working on all of the necessary skills for the sport.
I think he's going to be really cool, so I need to work really hard not to screw it up! 🤣🤣

SuperDogs Photo Dump

Finally getting around to loading these bad boys up!

I had the opportunity to go back to my performance roots for Stampede this year.
My first ever show was at Stampede, with the "Iams" SuperDogs with Wesley in 2008!!
I had never even seen a SD show, let alone "perform," it was an experience that I will never forget & one that started me on the path to dog training, dog sports & competitions.

So incredibly grateful for the path that laid out & all of the amazing times I've had along the way.
Lifelong friends, lifelong memories.
The best dogs ever.

New Champion 🏆🏆
I entered Shady quite sparingly at AKC (and throughout his career actually); he is a lovely boy, with beautiful movement, but in all honesty he is a touch big... As such, some judges don't appreciate that.
I thought it was extra special that he received his final points at the Stampede City Whippet Club specialty. I thanked the Judge, Mr Paul Stanton, And he had some lovely comments.
I feel like we had unfinished business, and now we can cross it off our list.
On Sunday, he had the opportunity to go into the FGC specialty with a junior handler, and it was the cutest thing I've ever seen. I don't believe Shady has been handled by anyone else ever in his life in the show ring, so I wasn't quite sure how it would go, but she did a great job, and he was a willing participant... As long as there was some bait involved LOL. 🤣🤣

Sunday had a great Sunday at AKC!
A big breed win under Judge Christine Erickson and a BOS in the FGC Specialty under Murray Easson for a mitt-full of points toward his Canadian Championship.
Very pleased with how his ring manners improve each time we show.

I am totally unhealthily obsessed with this little bo**er!

When the Tailblazers location in Legacy opened, The owner put a call out for community dogs to participate in a photo shoot in the community for artwork for the store.

I was thrilled to participate, and Sirius was one of the chosen dogs, and this picture has hung in the Legacy Tailblazers since 2019.

Sad to hear the news that the location is closing, but beyond happy that this photo has made its way back to me.

Man, I tell you this chick. If I could afford a clone I would probably do it... I would absolutely have 10 of these dogs... Should have taken more out of that litter LOL cuz they were just the best, happiest little accident 🤪🤪🤪
