Meet Willow!

This beautiful Queen was amazing for her nail trim today! She was quite content in her mom’s arms and loved the head scratches. Willows mom was telling me that her daughter tries to trim her nails and she hisses and growls so thankfully we had no issues with that today! It’s not too often I meet a cat that also poses for the camera like this girl does 😍♥️

Meet Jagger (left) and Luna!

These beautiful shepherds were so lovely to work with today! Their mom told me that Jagger can be a bit sensitive and growly with one of his front paws so I made sure to do this paw last. However, Jagger did not growl and made no fuss! He gave me a couple sneak attack face licks throughout his mani/pedi instead 🤣
Luna was just happy to be outside in the sun snuggled into her momma with her face in her lap. She did a couple little dances away but I think she was just trying to get some more treats out of us.
I love when these nail trim experiences are not stressful and they are happy from beginning to end!

Meet Luna!

Luna is a beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog who absolutely loves people, and she was such a sweetheart during her nail trim. She sat like a pro and soaked up all the love and attention. She enjoyed just sitting outside in the sun while I hand fed her liver treats. Luna made me laugh because when I took out my phone to take pictures of her, she started posing 🤣 the girl knew her assignment!

What makes this moment even more special is knowing the kind of people Luna belongs to. Her family runs one of the warmest and most welcoming cafés you could imagine (Pachamama Cafe) It is in the south of the city and they offer delicious food, drinks, coffee, and community. Every detail of their space reflects their care, compassion, and values, and it’s no wonder Luna is just as wonderful as they are.

If you ever stop by their café, you’re in for a treat in more ways than one. You’ll leave with incredible food, good coffee, and maybe even the joy of meeting Luna herself, who is a gentle soul and makes the experience even brighter. ☀️

Meet Kappa!

This beautiful girl apparently can be quite affectionate one moment and then the next likes to become a bit aggressive and bites her humans. We like to call this “love bites” 😆
Because of her full personality, we brought out a towel to prevent her from using her teeth just to be on the safe side. She actually did very well with her Dad holding and only had a few words to say throughout the trim.

Does everyone remember Soleil?

She used to be small but now she has outgrown her sister Bella (on the left) 😅
Soleil is now 10 months old and not only is she big, but so is her personality 😆
I was able to trim her nails when she was only three months old. As she has gotten older, she decided that nail trims were no longer her favourite thing. 😅 Her parents ended up getting some “happy drugs” from her Vet to help take the edge off and help make the experience more positive. I’m so happy to say that getting her nails done today was a success!! She was a bit unsure at first but with lots of treats and encouragement from her mom and dad, she learnt that it wasn’t so bad after all.
We did Bella first and she sat there and handed me her paws 🥰 I know one day Soleil will get there too!

Meet Athena (left), Marley (top) and Indica (with the biggest smile!)

These three goofballs were excited to see me when I walked in and demanded attention 🥰 As soon as Marley knew something was up, she ran away 😅 Athena was the brave one to go first and did very well laying down licking peanut butter off a lick mat. She didn’t pay a lot of attention to what was going on.
When it was Indicas turn, she ran right to the door and wanted nothing to do with us when she realized what we were doing. She was so brave and only attempted to get away once. We fed her lots of treats and got the job done quickly.
Marley was quite nervous and needed a bit more patience. She ended up needing her dad to help hold and reassure her that she was ok. Her family brought out some pepperoni sticks near the end which she loved!
All three dogs were happy pups and still wanting attention after which is always a good sign 🥰

✨ Business Update ✨

When I started this journey, I never imagined how quickly it would grow. I’m so happy to share that in the beginning of July, I had 150 amazing clients, and today I officially have 180! That means 30 new clients in just 2 months!! I am beyond grateful for the support, trust, and love you’ve all shown me and my mobile nail trim service. This success truly wouldn’t be possible without each and every one of you. ♥️

With that being said, due to this growth, I kindly ask for at least two weeks’ notice when booking an appointment, as my schedule fills up quickly. To make things easier, I highly recommend booking your next appointment at the time of your current nail trim. This way, you’ll secure your spot ahead of time.

I’m working hard to accommodate everyone, and I appreciate your patience and understanding as my business continues to grow. Thank you all so much for being part of this journey with me. I’m so excited to keep caring for your pets and helping them feel their best! 🐾

Meet Bowie (left) and Cora!

Cora’s family told me that she has historically not done well with nail trims and often is quite theatrical 😅 apparently she would make noises as if her toes were being amputated. Thankfully with a dog as food motivated as she was, it made things a lot easier. What worked best for her was the squeeze cheese on a mat to make her think of something else. She was a bit sensitive with her front toes being touched so we brought out the beef liver treats and managed to get all her nails done with no drama!

Bowie was previously a show dog and did very well just sitting on the table while I trimmed. He did a little dance to try and shimmy himself away a few times but he was very patient with his mani/pedi!

Meet Scout!

I absolutely love when I work with cats who work the camera 😍
This sweet boy is a Polydactyl! If you don’t know what that means, he has extra toe beans! We typically see this on front paws but this handsome boy had them on all of his paws which is adorable! He did ok with his momma holding him but is quite sensitive with one paw which actually has three nails fused together 🙀
I did this paw last due to his sensitivity and worked quickly to get the job done.

Meet Meadow!

This sweet girl has been someone I have been working with at my clinic for quite a few months. I love that I work in a clinic that not only supports my business but also respects the comfort level of each individual pet coming into the clinic. Meadows momma puts in so much time and energy into her as she is quite a sensitive girl and can get overwhelmed very easily. We decided to see how she does in her home to keep her stress levels down and she did great! The best part was how excited she got when I got to her place because I was loving her up in her safe place 🥰 Meadow gets spoiled with lots of treats and attention to keep her nail trim experience positive. I loved getting to see her personally come through and she even came to sit on my lap which she has never done before. This just shows that having a mobile service can make a huge difference when it comes to nail trims!

Some dogs show their happiness by wagging their tail. Other dogs like Ollie show their excitement by giving me the most adorable smile along with his tail wags. I love that these visits can make them this happy 🥹🥰
