Happy International Hug Your Cat Day! 🐾

Today is all about giving our feline friends some extra love and affection,though, as any cat lover knows, that’s strictly on a "case-by-case basis." Whether it’s a full-on snuggle, a gentle chin scratch, or a respectful "air hug" from across the room, we’re celebrating the unique bond we share with our guests.

Our residents are spending the day being extra pampered, and we hope you get some quality cuddle time with your own kitties today, too! Just remember: proceed with caution, watch for the tail flick, and embrace the floof.

The long weekend vibes are in full effect here at Cats Only Bed and Breakfast! 🐾☀️

We are officially in "maximum relaxation mode," soaking up every minute of the sunshine and extra lounge time. Whether our guests are chasing sunbeams or perfecting the art of the afternoon nap, like Heidi here, we’re making sure it’s a weekend to remember.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing cat moms out there! 🐾

Today we’re celebrating the women who know that "personal space" is a myth, that 3:00 AM zoomies are just a wake-up call for cuddles, and that a house isn't a home without a little bit of fur on every outfit. Whether you’re a dedicated kitten raiser or a lifelong devotee to your senior feline, your patience and love make the world a much purr-ier place.

We hope your day is filled with slow blinks, gentle head bumps, and maybe a nap that isn't interrupted by a paw to the face. You deserve it!

We’re taking a trip down memory lane today with one of our most distinguished winter residents, Thomas! While we truly love every single guest who stays with us, there’s something extra special about the "winter home" Thomas creates here every year.

Before he headed out at the end of his last stay, he and Sam had the most adorable photoshoot. As you can see, Thomas is a natural in front of the camera, especially when there’s a stylish brown hat and his favorite toys involved. He really knows how to work his angles!

Happy Wednesday! Meet our resident "Bat-Cat" Paul, who has clearly forgotten how to be a cat and is now practicing his best vampire impression. 🧛‍♂️🐾

There is so much happening outside today, but Paul decided the absolute best way to keep watch was upside down on the staircase with his tiny fangs on full display. We’re not sure if he’s guarding the stairs or just waiting for an invite to a spooky castle, but either way, he’s definitely winning the "cutest gargoyle" award this week.

Who knew bird-watching required such a commitment to the dramatic arts?

Happy National Tabby Cat Day to the owners of the most classic coat in the cat world! 🐾🧡

Did you know that "Tabby" isn’t actually a breed, but a beautiful coat pattern? Whether they are rocking the classic swirls, the bold stripes (mackerel), or those adorable spotted bellies, Tabbies are the icons of the feline world. 🐅✨

Keep an eye out for that signature "M" marking on their foreheads, legend has it it stands for "Majestic" (or maybe just "Mischievous," depending on the cat!). We see so many wonderful Tabby guests here at the B&B, and their big personalities always light up the suites.

To all our striped friends and their families, we hope your April 30th is filled with extra treats and the perfect sunbeam for a nap! ☀️🐱

Boop! 👃✨ Did you know that every single cat has a "signature" that’s all their own?

Just like human fingerprints, every cat has a completely unique nose print! The tiny bumps and ridges on a cat’s nose are specific to them and them alone, no two feline nose patterns in the world are exactly the same. 🐾

So, while we identify our guests by their names and personalities, science could identify them by those cute little pink, black, or freckled noses! It’s just one more thing that makes every kitty at the B&B one-of-a-kind.

Next time you're close enough for a "boop," remember you're looking at a masterpiece! 🎨🐱

Let’s be real: cats were the original environmentalists. They’ve mastered the art of low-impact living, solar-powered napping, and strictly organic pest control.

At our retreat, we’re committed to keeping the planet as pristine as a freshly cleaned litter box. Caring for the Earth isn't just about "going green", it’s about protecting the birds, the bees, and the breezes that make our guests' window-watching sessions so world-class.

Today, we’re celebrating by keeping our carbon paw-print small and our hearts big. Remember: a healthy Earth means more butterflies to watch and more crisp, fresh air for those afternoon naps! 🌿😻

Ever wonder if our guests are secretly blowing you kisses? 😽✨

The "Slow Blink" is actually a feline hug! When a cat looks at you and slowly closes their eyes, it’s a sign of extreme trust, comfort, and deep affection. In the cat world, it’s essentially a "cat kiss." 💋🐾

If you’re here dropping off your baby for a stay or picking them up after a vacation, keep an eye out. If you catch a slow blink, it’s their way of saying they feel totally at ease! It’s the best way to speak their language, so try doing it back to our guests (or your own cats at home!) to let them know they are safe and loved.
