“Fishy Friday”, anyone? 🎣
This past Sunday we had a puppy named Maui who came in with a new “piercing” 😓
We commonly see fish hooks this time of year with curious dogs (and sometimes cats 😼). Please keep all lures/hooks locked away and out of reach from any animals (outside too!).
The pesky barbs make it difficult to remove them from a pet and they usually need sedation to cut the hook and feed it out of the pet.
We’re happy to report that Maui is doing well since his visit and is on the mend! ❤️‍🩹 🪝

💕The staff at BNVC wanted to give a shout out to all the pet parents and clients who have shown so much patience and kindness for some very busy nights full of emergencies💕
We know it’s not easy to be waiting to be seen when you’re tired, hungry, or anxious to know what’s wrong with your pet during these times 🥱🫩😬
So to those who have been generous and gracious to those pets with more serious emergencies that warrant more immediate attention while you’ve already been waiting, we wanted to send a heartfelt, THANK YOU 🙏😻🤗
We don’t always have nights like those, and sometimes we don’t always get so lucky with such kind clients during those times… you know who you are ❤️
