Owlstone Equestrian Centre Hunter/jumper training facility An individualized approach for each athlete, a close-knit team, and a positive atmosphere are key tenets of our program.

Owlstone Equestrian currently has a couple stalls available for show clients and mature boarders who want a relaxed atmosphere and quality instruction. We primarily attend Trillium silver/bronze shows, including trillium championships and specialize in hunter/jumper and equitation riders. We also have some potential in-barn opportunities for dedicated riders on a budget. Located just minutes from

the 401 in Belleville Ontario. Amenities include
Attached indoor area with fibre footing
Newly renovated outdoor sand ring
300 acres of hacking

It was all about the kids this weekend at the wonderful Westar Farms Trillium Zone East

Rachel and moonstruck layed down some Awsome trips in the long stirrup, even winning a class! Then tackled thier first real derby on the grass taking home 8th in a competitive group of 19 horses.

Austyn and baby burrito stayed tough and managed to finish all 3 courses in the short stirrup divison and pinning 6th in the undersaddle!

Special thanks to Jess for helping us get our green pony around. Ashley the super groom. And our home team who enables us to make these days happen for the kids.

A FEW SPACES REMANING IN THE 2’6 and 2’9 GROUPS!

We are pleased to announce Cathy Inch will be returning MAY 3rd & 4th for a two day hunter/jumper clinic!

This 2-day clinic will be open to all levels. Groups of 5 will receive 1.5hr of instruction each day. Working on position, flatwork and gymnastics on day one, and course work on day two.

A great way to prep for show season, or get your young horse out.

Cost: $285 plus hst
Location: owlstone equestrian center-Belleville

Limited stabling available

DO YOU HAVE TO TAKE LESSONS TO BOARD HERE??? No you do not! Training is included but it is your choice to tailor a program to suit your needs. We have options for groups, 1/2 private, and even excercise rides when you can’t make it out. Or just take advantage of our exceptional care for your older or high maintence horse.

HOW MUCH does it cost? Less than you think. We do not Nickle and dime for extras like blanketing, booting, wrapping, extra feedings, basic medical care, holding for vet/farrier/chiro (when on our schedule)
All included for just $820/month.

Our Story

We are a family-run teaching and training facility that has been serving the Quinte area for over 20 years. We welcome complete beginner riders up to advanced competition. Our enclosed indoor riding arena along with experienced school horses allow us to teach in a safe and friendly environment. With hosting summer day-camps, in-house shows, professional jumping clinics, or just having fun, there is something for everyone. We at Owlstone are passionate about our equine careers. Our instructors continue to train with A level coaches and compete at the Gold level in Canada and the US. In this way we stay current and up-to-date on our teaching and riding practices.
