QSLB Dressage is proud to recognize this year’s Junior Bursary winners: Harper Harrison, Clara Cooney, and Avery Harper! 👏🐴

These talented young riders have demonstrated incredible passion, dedication, and commitment to the sport of dressage. Through countless hours spent training, learning, and developing partnerships with their horses, each rider has shown a strong desire to continue growing both in and out of the arena.

From working hard to improve their riding skills and horse connections, to gaining valuable experience within the dressage community, these juniors represent the future of our sport. Their enthusiasm, perseverance, and commitment to advancing their dressage journeys made them outstanding candidates for this year’s bursary program.

We are excited to support Harper, Clara, and Avery as they work toward their 2026 riding and competition goals, and we look forward to following their progress throughout the season!

Yesterday our team went to a local schooling show and we want to thank Pine Haven for a great atmosphere! Our girls did great for their first off property show of the season and a huge thank you to the mothers who came out on Mother’s Day, the support from our riders who weren’t showing but came to be a helping hand.

Starting Saturday night with bathing and trailer prep, early morning braiding feeding and snuggles before loading to head to the show!

All our girls could identify why they got the placing that they did due to mistakes made and they were able to tell me how they should ride to be able to fix it! Which as a coach that is the most valuable thing, when your riders can adapt and understand how and what they need to change to improve their riding.

To say the least I am very proud of all our girls, not for the ribbons, they have put in a lot of work since January to really improve themselves and their horses to ensure we have both rider and horse full prepared for anything to happen in the ring.

At Lemon Dal Stables, each horse is apart of our family. We understand just how special horses are and want to share our expertise to provide the best possible care.
At Lemon Dal we encourage all people to use who works for them and their horse; Vet, Farrier, coach (insurance required, also coach on site), Chiro, Massage and any other professional your horse may require.
There are many inclusive features to our boarding services such as:

Facility:

⭐️heated water in the winter, hand cleaned and scrubbed water troughs in the summer.
⭐️ Shelters
⭐️paddocks cleaned to reduce flies.
⭐️maintained electrical fencing.
⭐️salt blocks in all paddocks.
⭐️water filled twice daily in the summer and once daily in the winter.
Care:
⭐️ supplements provided by owner fed in the morning to all indoor horses, to ensure the horses are given all their daily medications and supplements
⭐️ Properly bedded stalls with ample quality shavings to allow your horse a comfortable dry , minimal dust space to rest and relax. Cleaned daily.
⭐️ Night check done at closing time to ensure all ponies are tucked in safe and sound, water and hay are topped up.
⭐️ Grain provided by owner fed twice daily for indoor horses. Grain for outdoor horses for an additional cost.
⭐️ Mandatory deworming program to ensure all horses are healthy.

⭐️ training/refresher sessions (riding, ground work, etc.)

Jigsaw is coming along well, 6th ride he is starting to move willingly with no silly’s. Jigsaw came to us listed as a 7y/o stallion who was well trained on the ground but with conversation with our vet we chose to geld him. He is going to make a great lesson horse one day! He accepted the saddle without issues and we are very thankful that prestige saddles are so easily adjustable makes working with many training horses so easy.Prestige Saddles Sprucewood Tack Shop

The time has come, arenas are opening up meaning that we are able to take on some more lesson students!

To enter W/t lesson or above new riders will be required to complete a riders assessment.
Beginner lessons spots do not require riding assessment! (Open lesson spot can be beginner lessons)

Assessment rides are booked 1hr 45min (Generally Sundays)

What you need:
Certified riding helmet
Appropriate pants/leggings/riding pants (no jeans)
Appropriate footwear/riding boots/ (boots that have a heel of a min 1/2inch)
OEF riding insurance

What we offer:
Set monthly payments (rate change for month of December as week take 2weeks off)
Graded system to see riders progression, and general follow ups (every 3months)
Fun relaxed atmosphere
Range Showing options if rider wish to show
Welcoming and clean environment for students and horses
Rescheduled lessons with appropriate notice

What is currently available:
Mondays
5pm-6pm x1 children’s beginner spot
8pm-9pm spots open to any level

Tuesdays

Tonight we had some fun with our Christmas tree and coloured poles 🎄
Trot poles
Canter bounces
Grid line and of course our jump next to our Christmas tree.
Lots of laughs as we played arena roulette on hard mode (snow coming off the arena every 5-10min) all the ponies handled it very well!

Our tack sale is looking good! 25+ tables currently! We are very excited to see everyone from the horse community! Still room for a few more tables to fill our indoor
