The activity is: Rescue Mission! The pups must figure out how to rescue their favourite thing - TREATS!

Treats will be placed under an obstacle forcing the pups to use those problem solving skills and really work their brains to figure out how to get their treats.

🇨🇦 Canada Day Schedule Update 🇨🇦

A quick reminder for our Hound Lounge families!
This year, we will be CLOSED on Monday, June 29th as our Canada Day substitute holiday, and OPEN on Wednesday, July 1st.

✅ Any recurring daycare schedules for Monday have already been removed.
✅ If your pup normally attends on Wednesdays, they are still booked in as usual for July 1st.

If you need to make any changes to your dog’s schedule, please let us know as soon as possible so we can update your bookings.

Starting Tuesday, June 2nd, we’re kicking off our FIRST pool party of the summer season — and we’re making it extra special! 💦🐾

Every Tuesday all summer long, your pups can splash, play, cool off, and soak up the tropical vibes with their daycare friends! From kiddie pools and sprinklers to water games and summer fun, it’s one of our most popular days of the year 🌺🍉

Spots fill up FAST for Tropical Tuesdays, so we highly recommend booking ahead to avoid missing out!

🍹We are so excited to bring back our Tropical Tuesdays EVERY Tuesday this summer. This is a popular day, so make sure to book in advance! If you would like your pup to have a reserved spot every Tuesday - let us know!

ENRICHMENT DAY - May 28th

On May 28th, our pups are putting their brains to work! 🧠✨ This Enrichment Day will focus on boundary control — practicing skills like:
• Waiting calmly at gates & doors
• Respecting boundaries and “invisible lines”
• Learning not to rush into certain spaces
• Building patience and self-control

These activities may look simple, but they challenge dogs in BIG ways! Boundary games help improve:
✔️ Impulse control
✔️ Problem-solving skills
✔️ Confidence
✔️ Focus & basic obedience
✔️ Calm decision-making

Mental enrichment is just as important as physical exercise, and dogs often go home more fulfilled and relaxed after using their brains in new ways. 💡🐶

From tunnels and jumps to weaving activities, this enrichment activity is designed to build confidence, improve body awareness, encourage problem-solving, and most importantly… have a blast! 🎉

📷 Friday, May 1st: Picture Day with Champagne Photography! This is your chance to get professional photos of your pup without any hassle. Simply book your pup for daycare, register for photos (you will receive a separate email with the link), and select your favourites to purchase from the gallery!

💖 Friday, May 8th: Dog Mom Day! A day to celebrate all the dog moms out there!
