One of the biggest mistakes we see? Rushing rotation too soon.

Variety is powerful 💥 but only when your pet’s body is ready for it.

So what should you look for? 👀
✔️ Steady energy levels
✔️ Comfortable movement
✔️ Healthy, consistent stools
✔️ No increase in itching or digestive upset

These are all signs your pet is handling their current diet well… and that’s your green light to slowly start introducing something new 🥩🐾

Because here’s the truth 👇
Rotation isn’t about doing more.
It’s about doing it at the right time.

Most pet parents struggle to make sure their pet is drinking enough water, especially cat parents.

That’s why raw food is an excellent choice to ensure proper hydration. A high moisture diet is perfect for digestion & reducing struggle during poops!

Raw food is usually 60-80% moisture, and to increase moisture content even more, some pets can add water directly to their food bowl!  

Your furry friend might not tolerate the simple “add water” trick, so try out some of these other options to increase moisture intake!

If feeding a dry diet, try adding some raw food as a simple topper, OR try adding in some Beef or Lamb Tripe for extra flavour.

Adding in Kefir or Bone Broth is a great choice for hydration & digestion aide; & Electrolyte Water is a great hot summer day addition. ☀️

For our Dog friends, we recommend a variety of whole foods that are great to add onto your dogs meal as a topper or a tasty mid day snack 👅

Rotation doesn’t have to be complicated 👇

One of the biggest misconceptions we hear?
That you need to change everything all at once.

You don’t.

Rotation is simply about adding variety over time 🐾
Different proteins, different nutrients, better support for your pet’s overall health.

Think of it like this:
✔️ More variety = broader nutrition
✔️ Less reliance on one protein
✔️ Better digestion + long-term resilience

Start simple.
Stick with one protein, then gradually introduce new ones.
Add a topper here and there.
Switch it up when your pet is ready.

No rush. No pressure. Just progress.

Dogs tend to adapt quickly 🐶
Cats like routine a little more 🐱
Both benefit from variety over time.

Protein variety isn’t complicated … but it does matter 🥩🐾

Feeding the same protein over and over might feel safe, but over time it can limit your pet’s nutrition.

Different proteins = different nutrients
And that’s where real balance comes in.

Rotating proteins can help:
✔️ Support a more complete diet
✔️ Reduce sensitivities
✔️ Keep meals exciting (because yes … that matters too)

And no, this doesn’t mean overhauling everything overnight 👇

Start simple:
➡️ Rotate every few weeks
➡️ Introduce new proteins slowly
➡️ Mix familiar with something new
