SOUTH SIMCOE PET FOOD BANK NEEDS HELP
In July alone, they fed 183 dogs and 167 cats — but now their shelves are empty.
As fast as donations come in, they’re gone again. The need is overwhelming, and they can’t keep up without help.
Their biggest needs right now:
Dog kibble
Cat kibble
If you can donate pet food or supplies, please do! Every bag helps keep a pet fed and a family supported.

The Dogz Lodge Pet & Home Service is located in Barrie Ontario . We are open for pet walking, pet in home visits and home/pet sitting. We have been operating since 2016, when I had the opportunity to open our doors for the first time. Every time I had to leave my furry family at home I felt sad or guilty, it’s the look they give you...ahhh you know the one! I love animals with all my heart and know first hand the “sinking” feeling in your gut when you need to leave them behind. So,I left my old life and opened my first Doggy day care. That was 3.5 years ago and many experiences later , I am back home in Barrie and super excited to be opening my doors in the community I grew up in!
Whether you leave for the day, overnight or vacation it’s good to know your pet is happy and loved and your home is safe! We provide a relaxed and fun atmosphere for your four-legged loved ones while they are in our care. Lots of snuggles and treats are guaranteed to be on the agenda!
45 min Socialize-Pack Walk . Max of 4 dogs per pack. I ensure your pup is with a compatible pack. $25
45-60 min Single Pup Walk- Your pup and Paula only. $40
15-30 min Drop IN for Dogs or Cats- Includes a “doing my business” walk/let out, cuddles and treats. $20
Are you a 2 or 3 Pup Family? Add an extra $10 per pup, per walk experience.
Booking everyday- 5 days a week? Ask about the “book ahead” pricing.

Pets who remain at home to be cared for are able to follow their regular diet and routine which reduces the animals level of anxiety. They are far more comfortable and less stressed in their own “cave”.
Our live in “Home Sitting” service ensures your home is being lived in, cared for and/or checked on regularly.
Your pets are not exposed to other pets' illnesses, parasites, anxiety or bad behavior. Our pups are screened for health (proof of up to date shots and vet clearance if recently sick) before they walk in a pack.
We walk in your neighborhood or nearby trails and do not utilize the public dog parks while your pup is in our care. Although we love the dog park we feel while in our care we wish to remove any potential risk of disease, bugs or aggressive behavior from other pups not known to us.
You won’t have to rely on friends or a neighbor to care for your furry family.
We treat every pup or cat as if they are part of our family!
