During your field trip, you have the entire farm to yourself for a few hours, you get to enjoy up close animal encounters, and then utilize our picnic and play area afterwards! We had our pedicure and grooming day earlier this week! Thank you to everyone who sponsored a pedicure! It was a beautiful day, and pedicure day always make for some good laughs! Our mini horse Strider and donkey Sparky are always planning ways to try and break the others free, they think they are being sneaky but they are not 😂 they will untie their lead ropes, try and steal tools from the bucket, and steal extra lead ropes and run off with them 😆 we try to tell them that this is a good day for them, and that no one needs help to escape their turn, but they don’t listen 🤷🏼‍♀️😆 they sure love horsing around, and it’s always a good laugh!

We are now looking for a new member to join our team for the summer season! Duties include providing tours, taking care of the animals throughout the day, and some other tasks that may come up! Those sweet little whistles 😍 our newest addition to the farm! Our newest baby emu, he was so excited to break out of that shell and meet us!

Our Easter weekend was full of so much excitement and love 🥹 we had our first successful emu hatch, after patiently waiting for 56 days 🫶🏻 our kids have named it Bobby, we don’t know the gender yet but will find out soon! This one is such a snuggler and I am tempted to raise a house emu 🤭 we can’t wait for you to meet this sweet pea this summer!!! Hopefully there will be more 🫶🏻

We will soon start sharing videos of the journey of Bobby, which is such an amazing thing to experience! So much love!!! ❤️
