The support has been phenomenal, and humbling to say the least. This is us - 2 weeks after her first chemo treatment. A long road ahead, to be eased a little by your generous donations...

This year we will close end of day on the
21st of December
Reopening on the 2nd of January.

OUR FINAL HAIR HURRAH - our BEFORE photo...

Sharing a quiet moment together appreciating our locks before we lose it all soon - for one of my dearest friends (on the right) to chemotherapy, and for me to shaving mine off in solidarity with her.

The support everyone has put forward for this fund-raiser for my friend has been just mind-blowing - THANK YOU to each and every person who has taken the time to read my friend's story and donate a little (or a lot!) to help her get through these next few challenging months.
She is so very touched by your thoughtfulness and grateful for your generosity.
She has started chemo now so will likely start losing her hair soon, so it probably won't be long til we'll both be bald (photo to come!).

I'm Dr Sheree.
I'm shaving my head in support of my girlfriend who is facing a tough battle with malignant breast cancer.
Many people say that I am brave but honestly, it's nothing in comparison to what she is losing (breasts, uterus, ovaries, as well as her hair). She's only 45. I'm supporting her anyway I can and that includes this fund-raiser to help her out during the next few months she has off work whilst going through chemo. Holy shizzles!! We've reached $1000!! Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read my friend's story and those who have generously donated. You are all such amazing, caring souls.
I didn't think I could generate much support for this but maybe everyone just wants to see me with a n**e noggin.

Dr Sheree is going to SHAVE HER HEAD!!!

A dear friend of mine has malignant breat cancer. She has 2 young high needs children and will be financially challenged to have time off work for treatment. She is 45 years old and has had a double mastectomy and faces a complete hysterectomy and chemo over the next few months.
In solidarity with her, and to raise awareness of breast cancer in young women, I am going to shave my head.
