Spring has sprung… and so has Billy!

Our first patient on the first day of spring, and his very first visit with us! What a gorgeous little guy to kick off the season.

REUINTED WITH OWNER!!!

🐾 STRAY DOG — IS THIS YOUR HANDSOME BOY? 🐾

This lovely boy has been brought into us after being found as a stray. We have scanned for a microchip, but unfortunately, he does not have a microchip registered to him.

⚠️ Proof of ownership will be required before he can be released.

Dogs and cats are incredibly good at hiding pain.

Instead of crying or limping, your pet might simply:
🐶 Stop jumping on the couch
🐱 Hide more than usual
🐶 Take longer to get up
🐱 Become grumpy when touched
🐶 Sleep more
🐱 Stop grooming themselves
🐶 Eat less or become fussy
🐱 Suddenly stop using the stairs
🐶 Seem “a little quieter” than normal

And sometimes, what looks like “just getting older” can actually be arthritis, dental disease, an injury or another condition that can be treated.

💡 The tricky part? By the time many pets show obvious signs of pain, they may have been uncomfortable for quite some time.
