🩷 Darling Mia 🩷

Today we received a beautiful photo of ‘Darling Mia’ from one of our treasured families.

It always delights us to hear how Debs and Peter refer to Mia when you ask how she is. No matter the reason for their call, Mia is always simply “exquisite” according to her people.

She moves through the clinic with an air of grace, kindness, and a knowing that gently wraps around everyone she meets. It is never lost on us how fortunate we are to love your beloveds and to walk alongside you in their care.

💛A big shoutout to our lovely patient Charlie💛

Charlie and her wonderful family were all set for her dental procedure today when another patient, a young Labrador puppy, ate something they shouldn’t have and required emergency surgery.

Without hesitation, Charlie’s family kindly rescheduled to give us the space and time to provide urgent care.

Veterinary days can be unpredictable, and we’re so grateful for the flexibility and compassion of all our clients who like Charlie’s family, help us prioritise the patients that need us most. 🤍

Don’t worry Charlie, we will have those pearly whites sparkling in no time! 🦷✨

At Prestige Vets we are lucky enough to work with this incredible team who show up every single day with so much heart, skill, and unwavering dedication 🐾

Yesterday was a big one for desexing, health checking, microchipping and vaccinating rescue puppies and kittens to give them the healthiest start before heading out of rescue and on to their forever homes 🥹

We get to share the best days with this crew, laughing, sometimes crying and always working hard together with a whole lot of purpose. Grateful for this chapter, and the amazing people and pets in it 🤍

Tully is just a year old and has already overcome so much 🐾🖤

This brave pup, along with his amazing and devoted family, have faced challenges few would expect so early in life.

When they noticed a subtle change in his breathing, (his stoic nature didn’t reveal much) they acted quickly and sought medical attention. That small sign led to the discovery of a life-threatening lung mass.

Thanks to their swift action and the expert, compassionate care of Dr. Sarah and Dr. Chris, Tully underwent major surgery and made it through, tail wagging and making friends along the way. Today, we’re delighted to share that Tully is thriving.

From rescue pup to resilient warrior, here’s to many more happy, healthy years ahead! 🥰

Marking the End of an Era – Our Darling Mavie
On Friday, we said goodbye to our precious Mavie, his joyful presence and quiet strength held our family steady over the past decade.
So many of you know and love Mav, we thank you for being his extended family and friends through the years. He had this remarkable way of bringing peace and warmth to any space, simply by being in it. Somehow, he just made everything feel okay.
Mav left us in the most ‘Mav’ way possible — with a feast fit for a king, surrounded by stories, memories, laughter, and of course, an abundance of tears. He left this world just as he lived in it, with his favourite people by his side, now holding steady for him, just as he has always done for us.
A special thank you to those clients who visited on Thursday in the thick of our grief, the show went on, just. Our poor little work family have been getting us through with such heavy hearts of their own.
We always say we have the best families here at Prestige, and moments like this we are profoundly grateful to be surrounded by those who just get it.

His leg amputation went incredibly well, and to celebrate, we’re launching our EASTER COLOURING COMPETITION 🐣
