When was the last time you thanked your vet and vet nurse?
And I mean truly thanked them.
Jaggs needed a visit this morning after becoming unwell and despite being absolutely under the pump, they made a visit happen and we are now at home resting.
Your clinics work their ass off each and every day, often for very little praise.
I am blessed to know a number of incredible vets and nurses that I am lucky enough to call my friends and the pressure they work under is immense.
Imagine sitting with someone after you’ve just had to euthanise their best friend, wipe away the tears and walk into your next consult with a smile and give your best self to that client.
Imagine losing a patient during surgery despite your best attempts and then getting abused by your next client about a bill.
It’s a rough job that requires enormous resilience and it’s performed by people with huge hearts who are dedicating their lives to make animals lives better.
Do me a favour and send your vet and nurses a message letting them know they are valued.
