Here’s a little myth buster – there is no such thing as “just dog breath”!

That stinky smell is actually bacteria building up on your pet’s teeth. Within 48 hours, this sticky layer (call biofilm – think that fuzzy morning-tooth feeling!) starts to harden and turn into tartar, which is much harder to remove 🦷

Healthy dogs and cats shouldn’t have that strong, pungent breath. A mild “morning breath” is normal – anything stronger is often the first sign of dental disease 😅

Bad breath is usually the earliest clue that something isn’t right, even before you can see obvious tartar or red, inflamed gums.

Daily brushing, dental chews, and additives can help slow plaque build-up and extend the time between professional cleans – but they can’t always treat existing disease.
