Broccoli Raab is back for Carlton Farmers Market! It’s a bit of a rarity amongst our crops these days, but we’re thrilled to have it back amongst our spread with all the other tasty winter Veg.

This week the girls try Green Kale, one of the few vegetables that withstands a cold winter! We have baby and full size kale year round, but it’s at its best in the cooler months. Get some to try at Carlton Farmers Market this Saturday.

This week at Carlton Farmers Market we farewell Emily off to London for her much anticipated overseas move. From running her own markets south side, being head chef of Oz Fresh to her latest Pen and Em series ‘the boss’ will be much missed. Good luck Ems on your overseas adventures and we hope to see photos of you exploring new markets when you’re over there.

🌱CHICKWEED🌱 we found some delicious chickweed growing over a young crop of radishes this week and thought, why not pick some? Chickweed is high in vitamins (A, C and 😎 and has anti-inflammatory properties with a mild, slightly tangy taste. You can get some to try tomorrow at Carlton Farmers Market or Elwood Farmers Market
