🕐 Casual – 18+ hours per week

Empowered K9 is growing, and we’re looking for a reliable, enthusiastic dog lover to join our team!
If you’re interested in dog behaviour and training and love working hands-on with dogs, we’d love to hear from you.

🐶 What You’ll Do:
- Supervise dogs during daycare, ensuring safe and positive interactions
- Provide daily care including feeding, watering and cleaning
- Monitor behaviour, energy levels and health
- Handle check-ins/outs, payments and customer enquiries
- Capture photos and videos of our pups for social media
- Help keep our facility clean, organised and welcoming

🐾 What We’re Looking For:
- Genuine love for dogs and an interest in dog behaviour
- Calm, confident handling of dogs of all sizes and breeds
- Reliable, hardworking and positive
- Comfortable being active and on your feet throughout the day
- Previous animal care or training experience is a bonus, but not required
- Availability Tuesday–Thursday between 7:30am and 6:00pm
- Ability to commit to 18+ hours per week with hours increasing as we expand

A big shout out to dogeducationcentre! 🐾👏

We recently welcomed a new daycare member who has spent the past 12 months attending daycare with Dog Education Centre in Albury, and it’s been fantastic to see how well he has transitioned into our environment.

From the beginning, he has shown a great understanding of routine, boundaries and appropriate interactions. He has slotted into our daycare group beautifully, making good choices, engaging in appropriate play and confidently navigating a new environment.

This is a great example of the benefits of consistent, structured daycare. Dogs who regularly practise social skills, routines and calm behaviour are often better equipped to adapt to new environments and experiences.

Thanks to the team at Dog Education Centre for helping build such strong foundations! 💛
