📣 Ticks!! They're still out there!

Contrary to popular belief, ticks don't disappear in the cooler months. With the recent rain and mild conditions, we're still seeing plenty of tick activity in our regions.

This engorged tick was removed from a dog at our clinic last week - a timely reminder that tick prevention remains important all year round!

▶️ Make sure your pet's tick prevention is up-to-date
▶️ Check them regularly, especially after they've been in the long grass or bushy areas.
▶️ Contact us immediately if they shows signs of tick paralysis, such as weakness, wobbliness, vomiting, or difficulty breathing

We loved welcoming the local kindy kids to our Toogoolawah clinic for their annual visit! 🐾

With the help of Dr Emma, the kids spent some time in one of our consult rooms learning about what happens when pets come to visit the vet. They asked lots of great questions and got hands-on with some veterinary equipment!

It was a fun morning filled with curious minds, big smiles, and plenty of excitement about all things veterinary! 🩺🐶🐱
