Dr Tess was called out to assist a mumma cow who was having a tough time delivering her calf..... and surprise! It was TWINS!! 🐮🐮

The adorable Brahman calves were both delivered safely, with a huge helping hand from Tess. Mum is also doing great! 💕

It’s Dental Month!

We gave these chompers some TLC under general anaesthetic, using our ultrasonic scaler to gently remove plaque, followed by a polish to smooth the teeth and help keep them cleaner for longer.
Now these pearly whites are back in action! 💙

A small procedure today means a healthier smile (and fresher breath!) tomorrow.

Seven years on, and this girl is still living her best life with her pals, all thanks to Dr Bill and Dr Megs! See the comments below for a ‘where is she now’ update 💕

Meet Maggie, our most recent orthopaedic patient!

Maggie fractured her humerus bone, which is located above the elbow joint. Humeral fractures account for 8-10% of fractures in dogs and are generally caused by a means of force, such as road traffic accidents or large falls/jumps.

The humerus is a difficult bone to surgically approach and repair because of its shape, location, and surrounding anatomic structures. After extensive surgery, Dr Bill & Dr Megs managed to successfully screw a plate in place to repair the fracture.

She stayed the night in our hospital to recover and greeted us with the biggest smile this morning!
