Fassifern Vaulting Fassifern Vaulting is based in Boonah, SEQ. Equestrian Vaulting is a sport that draws on elements from gymnastics, acrobatics, dance and horsemanship.

Equestrian Vaulting is a presentation of skill and grace performed on the top of a moving horse with elements that are judged based on technical and performance skills much like gymnastics, but with the added difficulty of having to do this on a horse that is moving in a circle and being controlled by a lunger on the ground. This sport builds co-ordination, balance, physical health, self-esteem an

d the ability to work in a team as the vaulter cannot perform without the horse and the lunger. Vaulting competition is done individually, in pairs, or in a team of 6 with up to 3 vaulters on the horse at any one time.

First competition for Fassifern in 2026. Gatton Official competition. thanks to Karen Foran and Aceline for organising and for Gatton Heavy Horse for allowing us to be part of their event. A huge thank you to Aceline for sharing their horses with our Vaulters. Our club has been suffering with the lack of horses in the last couple of years. But starting to look up with our big Goose sound enough to do his first competition after a year off recovering. We also have Toby and Stormy coming along. Not yet ready for competition, still just the basics. Fassifern is still active and working towards our goals due to our hard work and dedication of wonderful vaulters and a amazing parents

The Fassifern Vaulting Official Competition is happening on Sunday the 15th of June 2025 at Teviot Park, Boonah!

Entries open via Nominate at 9am on Sunday the 18th of May and close Midnight Saturday the 7th of June — don’t miss your chance to shine in the arena!

The Germans are coming to Boonah . Fassifern vaulting will be hosting a group of German Vaulters in April . Looking forward to being able to return the exchange after 4 local vaulters had an amazing trip to Germany in October 2024
