Adopted!!

Hi my name is … Tobey!
S*x: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Age: 4 months
Ref: 12979
Tobey has been at the shelter since 15/8/26

Tobey is a lovely affectionate boy who is ready to find his forever home! He's quite an energetic and rambunctious kitten who loves nothing more than playing with his toys and getting involved in every activity.
He could potentially share his forever home with another cat, although given he is a young kitten he does have a very playful energy so any potential cat friends would do best to match his play style, and a slow introduction is essential. Otherwise he would be perfectly happy as a solo kitty with lots of toys and enrichment.
We recommend an indoor only home for his safety and wellbeing.

ASSISTED REHOMING!
*Please note these dogs are NOT at the shelter, contact the 0431 922 615*

Names: Rambo (Fox Terrier, 6 years, male) and Ripley (Mini Foxie, 3.5 years, female). They are a bonded pair.

Desexed: both yes

Last Vaccinated: 2025

Microchipped: both yes

Personality:
Rambo is an energetic, gentle and incredibly affectionate dog with a big love for people — especially when there’s a lap available! He’s friendly, cuddly and happiest with his people.
Rambo is wonderful with children and has a naturally gentle nature. He loves cuddles and will happily snuggle up on a lap, although his excitement can sometimes get the better of him — expect the occasional enthusiastic face lick or standing up on his back legs to say, “More pats, please!”
Around other dogs, Rambo is generally very well behaved off leash. On leash, however, he can be quite vocal and may bark when he sees another dog. He’s also protective of his yard and will let you know if a dog is trying to come in.
Overall, Rambo is a loving, people-friendly cuddlebug with an energetic personality and a big heart. He’s the kind of dog who just wants to be part of the family pack — preferably right beside you, getting pats! ❤️

Ripley is a lovable, energetic and affectionate little girl with a real talent for making herself at home — especially if there’s a lap, a tummy rub or a cuddle on offer! She absolutely adores people and is a very friendly companion who loves being included in family life.
One of Ripley’s favourite things is being close to her humans. Whether she’s curled up on a lap, enjoying a good tummy rub or soaking up some attention, she’s happiest when she’s getting plenty of love. She’s also wonderful with children and has a sweet, affectionate nature. Ripley can get a little overexcited when she’s receiving attention, so she may enthusiastically try to sneak in a face lick, nibble on your fingers or pop up on her back legs to ask for more pats!
Ripley is also good with other dogs when off leash. When she’s on leash, she can become quite vocal around other dogs and may bark at them. She’s also happy to sound the alarm if another dog tries to enter her yard.
If you’re looking for a loving, people-focused dog with plenty of personality, Ripley is sure to win you over. She’s an affectionate cuddlebug who loves tummy rubs, laps, cuddles and being part of the family — and she’ll happily return all that love tenfold❤️

Ideal home:
Rambo and Ripley would love a warm, loving home where they can be part of the family and enjoy plenty of companionship. They are both affectionate, people-focused little dogs who thrive on being close to their humans and each other, rather than being left alone for long periods.
An ideal home would have a securely fenced backyard, patio or safe balcony where they can enjoy some fresh air, sunshine and time outside with their family. They would especially love having someone around who enjoys spending time with them outdoors — whether that’s relaxing in the garden, enjoying a coffee on the patio or simply soaking up the sunshine together.
Just as importantly, Rambo and Ripley love being inside with their people. They would be very happy pottering around the house, settling in beside you and then curling up for cuddles while you relax on the couch and watch TV.
They would be particularly well suited to people who spend a good amount of time at home, perhaps work from home, are retired, or simply enjoy having canine companions by their side. They don’t need constant entertainment — they just want to be included, loved and close to their people.
For Rambo and Ripley, the perfect home isn’t about having a huge property or lots of space. It’s about having a secure outdoor area, a comfortable indoor space and, most importantly, humans who have plenty of time, love and companionship to give.
If you’re looking for two loving little companions who will happily keep you company in the garden, relax beside you on the patio and then snuggle up with you for an evening of TV, Rambo and Ripley could be the perfect pair. 🐶🐶💕

Pet of the Week: ⚽️🏖️♥️BAILEY♥️🏖️⚽️

Bailey is a pocket-sized rocket who is full of love, spirit and fun!

This sweetheart is an active, affectionate and excitable little guy who loves nothing more than cuddling in laps after a nice long walk or trip to the beach once he gets to know you.

While Bailey may take some time to warm up, once he does, he’s your best friend who wants to be by your side through thick and thin.

At this stage, Bailey is suited to an experienced and mature household as the only pet due to some reactivity he has shown in the shelter.

The lovely Bailey is an approximately 3 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix who arrived into care on the 18/07/2026. His adoption fee is $455 which includes his microchipping, desexing, lifetime registration, first vaccination and up to date flea and worming.

ADOPTED!!

Hi my name is ... 🧡Pumpkin 🧡

Ref: 12925
S*x: Female
Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier Cross
Age: 2 years

Pumpkin has been with us since 3/07/26 and is now available for adoption!

Pumpkin has been the best mumma she arrived to us with 10 one week old pups desperately needing a carer.

Pumpkin has done a wonderful job at raising her puppies and is now free. After all her hard work she is now waiting and looking for a home of her own.

Pumpkin is very affectionate and loving girly, she absolutely loves people especially the ones that spoil her with treats, toys and the softest bedding.

Pumpkin is very tidy and quite toliet trained she loves being tucked to bed with a coat on. Pumpkin is the kind of girl who will have small zoomies and run along the side of you for more and more pats. She can't get enough cuddles.

Pumpkin seems occasionally ok with seeing other dogs at the shelter although can be protective and territorial. She is still adjusting from being in protective mum zone. A home already with other dogs will require a dog meet and greet first to see if they are a match.

Pumpkin will need walks and exercise in her daily routine.

Pumpkin is a people's dog she would fit right into a family with older children or as someone's first time pet she is a super loyal and happy girl once she knows you.

Pumpkins adoption fee is $370 this includes desexing, microchipping, vaccinations, lifetime registration and flea and worming.

If interested in adopting Pumpkin, please come meet her at the shelter or call and arrange an appointment today!

We still have a few of our gorgeous 8-week-old puppies searching for homes!

Raised in foster care, these puppies have been given a wonderful start to life, with plenty of socialisation, care and affection. They are mixed breeds, with their mother being a Staffordshire Terrier mix, and are expected to grow into medium to large-sized dogs.

As you would expect from young puppies, they are playful, outgoing and full of enthusiasm. They enjoy exploring, learning new things and spending time with people. They are also very food motivated, which makes them excellent candidates for training as they continue to develop and build confidence. These puppies will thrive in homes that can provide ongoing training, socialisation, exercise and plenty of love as they grow into adulthood.

Viewings are strictly by appointment only to ensure the puppies have a positive and stress-free experience while meeting potential adopters. If you currently have a dog at home, they will need to attend the appointment for a meet and greet before any adoption can proceed.

Each puppy's adoption fee is $455 which includes microchipping, desexing, lifetime registration, first vaccination, up-to-date flea and worm treatment, as well as a council tag and collar. Please note that the puppies are not currently desexed and adopters will be required to bring their puppy back for their scheduled desexing appointment at 12 weeks of age.

We will be holding a Puppy Adoption Day this weekend. If you are interested in adopting one of these beautiful puppies, please send your enquiry to [email protected]. All enquiries will be reviewed, and suitable applicants will be contacted to arrange an appointment.

We are excited for these wonderful puppies to find loving homes.

Feel Good Friday:🍭🐾PANDEMONIUM🐾🍭

Gorgeous Pandemonium arrived into care with 4 babies in tow in April this year. Despite her being overwhelmed and shy in a shelter environment, she remained a devoted mum and raised her babies with so much love and care.

After being overlooked for 2 months due to her timid nature, Pandemonium, now known as Amber, found her forever home with a very special and kind adopter.

Her forever family had this to share about life with Amber:

‘Amber hid under the sofa for 15 whole days before she trusted us enough to come out! Now living the good life, she loves her treats and the cursor on the TV screen and sleeps on our bed at night. She is gorgeous. Very happy we picked her!

She is incredibly playful. I can only knit when she’s napping as she will run like a hare to get my ball of wool and ‘kill’ it.

She’s still a little skittish at times, however breakfast time is a thing to behold. She runs ahead of me to the kitchen and rubs around my legs chirping wildly. She’s put on a bit of weight as she gets several snacks during the day. In the evening she snuggles up beside me to watch TV with us and gets lots of pats.

She’s trying to get the confidence to sit on my lap … every day she gets a bit more bold. She has lots of toys and plays with them all.

She has one of my old knitted scarves that she drags from room to room so she can be near us when she’s playing with it. Looking forward to seeing her get more settled and confident in the months to come!’

Thank you to Amber’s family for working with Amber and building her confidence and trust while she was settling into her forever home. We are so happy she has found such a caring, loving home to call her own!

ADOPTED!!

Hi my name is ... MILES

S*x: Male
Breed: German Shepherd Dog
Age: 2 Years
Ref: 12972

Miles has been at the shelter since 11/08/2026.

Miles is a social butterfly who is a very happy, gorgeous pup who loves attention and socialising with people.

This sweet boy is active and excitable; he adores meeting new people for pats and playtime! Outside of the shelter, Miles enjoys his walks and exploring his surroundings.

Miles would be best suited to an active, fun-loving family that would enjoy having an active, smart and outgoing companion to take out on long walks and adventures

Further training is recommended for gorgeous Miles to keep his bright mind sharp and stimulated as well as shaping him into the best version of himself.

During his time at the shelter, Miles has shown interest in meeting other dogs so may be open to sharing his forever home with some doggy pals however a meet and greet is essential to ensure they'll be the best of friends.
