It does our heart good to see Felicity Burton & her superstar RS Chisum mare JR ELSOLA REY at the top end of The Chinchilla Grandfather Clock leaderboard with 91.

We've been watching this combination since 2015 when they won the coveted Nutrien Classic Challenge.

There are 500 starters in the Chinchilla Novice draft, 150 have completed their runs, with the remainder to be split between tomorrow and Friday.

JACK REACHER (by Koonamara Spoonfula Badge) & Shari Knudsen are a formidable force to be reckoned with. We watched their class at Condamine and they've backed up at Chinchilla.

Rd1 of The Grandfather Clock sees them in prime position with 91 (24 63 4), currently just one point off the pace and =top in the cutout.

There's a long way to go yet, but we'll see them in the next round for sure.

Introducing the 2026 Condamine Joyce Campbell Memorial Ladies Finalists
Anyone who knows campdrafting will recognise these horse and rider combinations, an epic final is promised.

The Ladies finalists were drawnn from Rd1 of the Open, 2 take 91 into the final and the remainder 90. There's a whisker in it!
