Thank you all who came to Eat Local Produce and Makers Market yesterday! It certainly was a challenge with a cracked voice & cold sweats but was great to say hi to old and new faces.

There was certainly a huge interest in the colours of our mushrooms, so here is one of the most popular grow kits, ‘chocolate’ oyster mushrooms. And no, they don’t taste like chocolate 😂

Our mushroom planter pots drew a lot of attentions as well, they’re made out of reishi mycelium therefore 100% environmentally friendly!

On the Opening Weekend of Eat Local Month you'll find me at the Eat Local Produce & Makers Market, nestled in the heart of the beautiful North Stores precinct on Tamborine Mountain.

This relaxed Sunday morning market brings together some of the region’s best farmers, food artisans, and boutique producers. Wander among the stalls, meet the makers, and stock up on seasonal treasures—from farm-fresh veggies and organic mushrooms to gourmet jams, infused salts, rosella syrup, herbal teas, and raw local honey. You'll also find handcrafted spirits, small-batch pickles, and seasonal produce curated from across Tamborine Mountain. Then, treat yourself to a woodfired BBQ breakfast from the award-winning Picnic Real Food Bar.

Our first time spotting this beauty on our property.

We had to remove some cyclone damaged tree branches and we gave him(or her?) a fright. He sat on our daughter’s monkey bars for hours and flew off. Couldn’t take photos of his gorgeous stare, but wow that made my day. What a lovely bird. Please come back ❤️
