This morning’s visitor. This beauty has been wandering our local area for a few weeks & appeared on our kitchen deck this morning. Nelly gave chase so he’s found sanctuary on the pool roof.

Molly survived a worrying dose of pregnancy toxaemia just a week before delivering her healthy lamb Hayley. Ive never seen a ewe so absolutely exhausted from her labour as she was. She couldn’t stop yawning afterwards & for about five minutes her lips were rapidly trying to clean her lamb up but she was too tired to get herself up to do the job. Bless her🩷

Callie’s twins are growing up nicely & Molly in the background looks decidedly uncomfortabke so I think her lamb (or lambs) might be on their way.

Annie and her proud Mum, Frankie. Sorry to say that we lost Annie’s twin brother due to misadventure. Frankie is mothering Annie very well in every respect other than being a little reluctant to allow her feed which is very strange considering the one month old lambs born to Callie have been happily feeding from her for a few weeks😂. Thankfully, Annie is strong and with a little help to restrain Frankie’s hind leg, she gets a good drink. I’ll be on the two hourly feed wagon til things change.
