One of the gentle experiences we introduce to our puppies is the vibration and sound of an electric toothbrush.

We slowly run it near and over different areas of their body, allowing each puppy to investigate and adjust at their own pace. The vibration helps prepare them for some of the sensations they may experience later with clippers and other grooming equipment.

It’s never about overwhelming them, it’s about tiny, positive exposures while carefully watching each puppy’s response.

These little experiences now can help grooming feel much more familiar and less worrying as they grow.

Another little piece of puppy socialisation 💛🐶

Today we placed an envelope into the puppy pen. Such a simple thing, but it creates a new crinkly sound and texture for them to explore.

We introduce these little experiences gently and gradually, allowing each puppy to investigate in their own time. It’s all part of building confidence around the everyday sounds and sensations they’ll encounter as they grow. 🌿✨
